Fall LeavesD E S C R I P T I O N

In this project, the Marquee tool was used in order to trace a real photograph. The traced images were colored by using the eye dropper tool to select colors from the real image.

iPod IllustrationD E S C R I P T I O N

In this project basic shapes were utilized in order to create more complex objects. We used shape modes to add, subtract, intersect, and exlude objects. The Pathfinder tool was used to divide, merge, trim, outline, and crop objects.

Photo MonatgeD E S C R I P T I O N

We created a photo-montage using tools we have learned to use earlier: Natural Selection, Transformation and Distortion, Hiding and Showing, Image Adjustments. Light and Shade, and Perspective. These tools were used in order to create a photo-montage that looks as realistic as possible.

Line Art IllustrationD E S C R I P T I O N

To create this illustration, a shoe image was traced using a variety of tools such as: Pen Tool, Geometric Shapes, and the Pathfinder Pallet. Textures were creat-ed by using the Line Segment tool which was equipped to draw them. The Eye Dropper tool was later used to gather data from the real image to color the illustrated creation.

Fog TutorialD E S C R I P T I O N

In this project, Photoshop tutorials were found online and executed on chosen images. These lessons were used to learn techniques for later uses in Photoshop. Tools were used in order to create a realistic fog effect.

Admission TicketD E S C R I P T I O N

Typography was used in this project along with imagery, to create an admission ticket to a hypotheticsal event. A Radiohead concert was the topic of this ticket. Skills learned from earlier projects were taken into account when creating this design such as tracing, layering, Line tool, Magic Wand tool, along with many others.

Magazine AdvertisementD E S C R I P T I O N We created a full page advertisement for an assigned product. Imagery was chosen for this project and was manipulated to work for the advetisement. A logo was created, as well as information and contact information. Typography was used to create an alluring effect, and to capture the attention of the potential audience.

Multiple Shadowed ObjectsD E S C R I P T I O N

In this project, a card was given a small drop shadow. The card was then copied repeatedly and pasted in an array of postions over each other in order to create the effect of multiple cards.

Layer Masks- TransparencyD E S C R I P T I O N In this image, a layer mask was created over the diver. By using the paint tool, water was revealed behind the image of the girl, to create the effect being submerged in the water. A shark was added in the background for a comedic element.
