Design Statement:This portfolio represents my work in Graphic Design, Photography and Year-book and what I learned for the classes. For these projects we used Adobe Il-lustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign. I am proud of what I have done for my year-book spreads because in years past, my old work wasn’t as good but the things I’ve done this year make up for it. I love photography and graphic design and I feel like my work represents this.

This project was to make an admission ticket of an event of our choice. Using any grid layouts of our choice, We made tickets.

For this project we went out and took pictures of some-one in action and took multiple pictures. Then, using Photoshop, we combined the sequence of pictures to make the action appear as if it was all one photo.

In this project we took one picture and shrunk, rotated and duplicated it to make a bunch of them in one picture and made a swirl out of them until you couldn’t see them anymore

In Photoshop we took a photo and placed another photo on top of it to appear as if there were posters on the building. We had to warp and distort the “posters” to make them seem more like posters than pictures. I also changed the opacity of the images to make them seem more like a poster on a building

Using Photoshop and our own pictures, we changed the look of the photo in our own way using any tutorial we want. The purpose of this project is to mess around with Photoshop and discover new ways to use the program then just the basic cropping pictures and using red-eye removal.

iPod IllustrationB a s i c I l l u s t r a t i o n

In this project we used the pen tool in Photoshop to trace an iPod along with it’s headphones. This project can help us in the future to trace objects we want for whatever our purpose for it is.

In this assignment we had to find a picture of any shoe we wanted, and we had to trace the outlines of the shoe using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. The pur-pose of this project was to become familiar with tracing the outlines of objects for future projects

This project was to create a ad. for a product of our choice that would go into a magazine. The purpose was to create an ad that would make a reader of the maga-zine take a few seconds and stop and look over the ad.
