Design Statement:This portfolio represents how I want to be represented as a graphic artist. I want to show that I focus on my work to the last detail, because I want to pro-duce quality work. I believe that it is im-portant to let your audience know that you put time and effort into your work, that’s exactly what I want this portfolio to represent.

This project was to combine two animals. I chose to do a hummingbird and giraffe, because a hummingbird is my sisters favorite animal, and a giraffe is an animal that I get compared to often. I thought it would make for an interesting composition.

In this project we had to create a magazine ad for a product. My product was Wonderful Pistchios, and I wanted to do something that was related to basketball, because at the time NBA playoffs were going on, and I wanted to involve that some how. I thought I would do a side angle of Blake Griffin dunking a pistachio, but then thought later that it would be better if I did him dunking over a pistachio.

This year we did a lot of things relating to “We are G”, I thought that we could go off the school shirts this year that were similar to supermans uniform, only that there was a G instead of an S.
