Motivation
The aim is to document fast and easily deviations for the end-user in the SAP
ERP system at the point of goods receipt (GR) and the subsequent quality
inspection process
To achieve this there is the possibility to record complaints (even without using
the QM module) in the SAP ERP system
Both GR complaints with reference to an inbound delivery as well as QM
complaints without any reference can be recorded.
To ensure a user friendly and fast entry you can revert to predefined complaint
characteristics (indicator)
After successfully entering the complaint online reports are available which
show a complaint quota (separated by logistics and QM)
The objection rate can be used for negotiations with the supplier or (optional) to
be used as a key performance indicator in the ACS Vendor Evaluation.
Integration in the subject of vendor evaluation is technically guaranteed
Likewise a mobile reporting can be made possible (optional)

Some typical questions
How should the recording of the GR complaint be carried out?
Do you need a single-level recording? E.g. with button and POP UP for choosing the GR
complaint characteristics in the GR transaction. Which GR transaction
(MIGO/BORGR/VL31N) do you use in SAP?
Do you have a two-level recording process? E.g. in the area of GR the GR complaint
characteristics are entered in the delivery note and in addition in the goods receipt office
the data is stored in the SAP system centrally.
If no SAP QM (QM notifications) is in action the storing can be done in a Z-Table.
If SAP QM (QM notification) is already in action a QM notification can be automatically
created in the background.
Do you want to make a recording via scanner possible?
Do you want to calculate, analyze, or even invoice costs for GR complaints to the vendor?
Are GR complaints relevant for PPM?
Are GR complaints relevant for a calculating a complaint rate?
Shall the GR complaints affect the vendor evaluation?
Do you want to initiate, trace actions to GR complaints…
