Carole Wade and Carol Tavris. Attendance Policy: Attendance is mandatory. I will take attendance regularly and will use attendance as a criterion for deciding how many bonus points each student is assigned. Students with perfect attendance (i.e., attend all classes and show up on time) will receive 10 extra points toward their final grade. Students within 80% of perfect attendance will receive 5 bonus points. Missed exams require prior approval or a medical excuse (note from physician). Makeups for missed exams will be taken during the final exam period immediately following the final exam. Powerpoints – I do not give out powerpoints to students who miss class. If you miss class, it is your responsibility to get class notes from a classmate. Academic Misconduct: Cheating in any form may result in an F in the course and other academic sanctions. Please read the student handbook carefully for policies on academic misconduct. See me if you are having trouble with the course.
