He was creative at a young age, building imaginary homes and cities from items found in his grandfather’s hardware store. Frank went to Harvard and after that went to California and made a name for himself with a cardboard line named “Easy Edges”. He is best known for his choices of unusual materials and unusual forms when he creates a structure The Gehry Residence is a personal redefined home that Frank Gehry and his wife bought and remod- elled. the home is located in Santa Monica, Cal- ifornia. the project year was 1978. When Gehry first moved into the home he knew he had to redesign the house. Frank Gehry designs usual- ly symbolize deconstructivism and this is what he wanted to portray in this house.
