New distribution centres opened...The Central Liverpool Foodbank has recently opened 2 new distribution centres to cope with the surge in demand for emergency food handouts.

As well as our main centre in Wavertree, we are now open in Toxteth and the city centre. This means we are now open every d a y o f t he wo r k i n g week distributing food to those in need.

The map shows the locations of the 3 current centres. We will also shortly be opening 2 further centres in Kens ington and Toxteth. There is a full list of all our new opening times and locations on our website.

Foodbank figures...

•350,000 people fed in the UK last year•5,368 people we fed in the last year.

•1,753 of whom were children.•105 agencies holding our vouchers.•10kgs given to each single person.•£17 average price of a food parcel.•3,000kgs of food given out each month.

•55% of people due to benefit delays in May.•50+ regular Foodbank volunteers.

Company donations...

Thank you to all the generous organisations and businesses who have donated to the Foodbank in recent months.

This has included donations from Local Solutions, Natwest, Liverpool Community Health, Hope University, Angel Solutions, Muslim Society, PSS and many others.
