Zarb School of Business presents Historically, Israel has successfully positioned itself as an integral and critical component of the intense and never-ending geopolitical conversation about the Middle East. New and groundbreaking research reveals that the traditional conversation has failed to produce real and concrete dividends for Israel. Currently, there is a new narrative about Israel that is far more relevant to younger audiences and is being celebrated worldwide. This lecture will explore the emerging conversation about Israel, its impact on Israel’s performance, and its relevance to Jewish life in America. New data about Israel’s image in the United States will be presented; this research was compiled and analyzed by Young & Rubicam’s research team and covers the years 2003-2011. Ambassador Ido Aharoni, Consul General of Israel in New York and a 20-year veteran of Israel’s Foreign Service, is known for his work to improve Israel’s overall positioning in the United States.
