Purist, simple, neutral

Body-conscious, with rigorous new shapes and no frills,

uncompromisingly feminine. The looks are sharp, perfectly

shaped, formal, focussed and super sexy. They show a

refined materials’ mix and subtle layerings. Reduced shapes

are decisive, as well as minimal-colour outlines. The look

plays with strictness and marked masculine proportions,

such as a strongly accented shoulder line defined byshoulder pads, and a feminine lightness featuring flounces,

lingerie-optics and long, ultra-feminine slits. This feminine

overstatement leads to a consistently modern, couture-like

total look.

Knitwear Trends.


Yarns

This theme features high-quality, refined mixtures in fine yarn

count, light flammé effects and mélange colours. The mesh is

fine and light, with shaded stripes and elastic plissés. Crepe-like

and stretchy, fine yarns with a silky sheen and perfectly rounded

cables interpret a couture-like mesh. To the touch, yarns are dry

and fresh, and surfaces are smooth or only sparingly structured.

This theme strives to be modern and laid-back, in an eye-to-

eye encounter between East and West. In keeping with this

spirit, the looks are consequently modern and relaxed. The

graphic handling of colours, patterns, handicraft and rawness

is surprising and new. The pattern-cutting techniques melt

together the Western tradition and the Far-Eastern draping

skills, bringing about a new hybrid couture. The look lives oncolour-blocking, different designs and textures.

give this look a new degree of freedom. Traditional indigo

technology meets the Tokyo street spirit. Soft layerings and

Flowing yarns with iridescent effects. The surfaces reflect light or

play with metallic li ght spots and matte-glossy contrasts. Super-

fine or coarse yarns play with transparency in combinations

with dropped stitches and lace patterns, creating an opaque

atmosphere. Super-fine transparency, lustrous chainette yarns,

cord yarns, bright single-coloured yarns, narrow ribbons, glossy

and stretch effects, metallics, moulinés, multi-coloured space

dyes, knots, multi-fil.

Women’s wear

Inspirations from folklore, foreign cultures and reminiscences of

Southern countries permeate this style.

Shapes

Knits take on bright colours in tops, tunics, trapezoid and asym-

metric shapes. This season provides enough freedom to allow the

combination of odd sweater-designs with fresh colours, strong and

is reflected in a dry touch and moving, flowing surfaces, creating

a mother-of-pearl shimmer, natural cottons, crêpe-like cotton/

polyamide mixtures with rippled effects, linen, li nen woven

Osec is responsible for mandates in import, investment and export

promotion as well as for promoting Switzerland as a business

location. An important task is to inform and support companies in

connection with their international business projects.

As the official Swiss foreign trade promoter Osec connects com-

panies, know-how providers, private sector organisations and

public entities worldwide through «Business Network Switzer-

land».

The Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) is one of

Osec’s mandates financed by the State Secretary for Economic

Affairs (SECO). It supports medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)from emerging markets and markets in transition as well as Swiss

and European importers.

The programme

SIPPO supports SMEs from selected countries (see below) in

gaining access to the Swiss and European markets. The program-

me also helps Swiss and European importers to find new market

sources and interesting products. SIPPO provides the importers

with information on export offers, trade fairs and publications

on a regular basis. SIPPO focuses on the supply chain offering

tailor-made business services in the «last mile» according to the

needs of exporters and importers in different sectors.

Our services.Trade and market information

In-depth information is available on individual branches. The aim

of providing this information is to familiarise producers in emerg-

ing markets and markets in transition with European norms,

standards, quality requirements, import and custom regulations

and charges. Additionally, SIPPO provides market overviews

in specific sectors or countries. Finally, the SIPPO newsletter

provides information about the latest highlights and upcoming

events.

Matchmaking services

SIPPO identifies products (sourcing) with a potential in theSwiss and European markets. The import promotion programme

supports the establishment of contacts between producers and

importers by providing addresses and direct contacts and by

organising selling & buying missions and the participation in

international trade fairs or road shows. In particular, at the trade

fairs within Europe the producers from the partner countries

have the possi-bility to exhibit their products, to establish new

contacts and to gain knowledge of their direct competition.

Training

SIPPO provides training for SMEs in the partner countries in

different areas e.g. export marketing, trade promotion, design and

quality management. This training familiarises the exporters with

the prerequisites for a competent supplier. They become more

sensitive to the demands of Swiss and European importers, their

product adjustment and how to react in a creative way to new

market trends.

Training is carried out in collaboration with local BSO in order to

ensure the sustainability and knowledge transfer of the pro-

gramme.

enables:

• Exporters to publish their offers online. Through this B2B plat-

form your export offers will appear in a worldwide platform.

• This allows you to bridge the gap between you and your buyer.

• Swiss importers and buyers to access a large number of ex-

porters’ business profiles covering a wide range of products.
