Essential is pasteurized and homogenized to be a homogeneous solution. Each ingredient has been selected to provide all the various stages of organic decomposition (from fast decomposers to more complex forms of carbon requiring complex decomposition). Essential contains 21 L-amino acids that promotes nutrient absorption, and stimulates the plants essential metabolic activities. It also becomes an available food source for soil microorganisms. High concentrates of active, sol- uble humic acid, humus and cellulose fiber will help to replenish soils that have been depleted of organic matter. Essential will improve poor or subsoil conditions and compaction. Essential will improve plant physiology with sugars, 21 amino acids and nutrients that are not available in N-P- K fertilizers. FOOD SOURCE FOR MICROBIAL ACTIVITY: Beneficial microorganisms need organic matter as a food source to survive and increase their population. Essential has a high carbon content that slowly decomposes, restoring organic matter back into the soil. This is especially important in over- worked urban settings such as golf courses, estates, corporate sites, and other manicured landscape settings. ENHANCES PLANT PHYSIOLOGY: Turf, trees, ornamentals, and nursery and greenhouse stock need more than just N-P-K fertilizers to remain in superior health. Essential contains vitamins, enzymes, carbohydrates, sugars, amino acids and root stimulators (from kelp). These nutrients are absorbed and utilized by the plant to enhance growth, vitality and stress resistance. Essential contains natural plant growth regulators that encourage cell division, root devel- opment and seed germination. REJUVENATES SOIL STRUCTURE: Essential contains high percentages of active, soluble humates, plant extracts, cellulose fiber and a natural wetting agent which are critical to maintain healthy soil. By adding organic matter back into soils that have been depleted, even the most difficult soil conditions can be improved. These ingredients also reduce compaction and improve cation exchange capacities. APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS: Essential is 100% soluble for spray applications foliar feeding, soil injection, or use in irrigation systems. Essential may be mixed with other technical materials and sprayed in one application, saving labor. Essential can be used on all types of turf grass, shrubs, trees, evergreens and flowering plants, as well as organically grown food crops. SUGGESTED USES: USGA Spec Tees & Greens: Essential should be part of the reg- ular maintenance program to increase the organic matter con- tent in soils and feed beneficial soil microorganisms. Essential should be used on newly built tees and greens to increase the cation exchange capacity. Regular use of Essential will improve the ability of sandy soils to hold nutrients. Essential will improve seed germination and stimulate root growth. •REJUVENATES SOIL STRUCTURE •FOOD SOURCE FOR MICROBIAL ACTIVITY •STIMULATES ROOT & PLANT GROWTH •CONTAINS 21 NATURAL L-AMINO ACIDS 80 Lafayette Avenue White Plains NY 10603 (800) 648-7626 www.GrowthProducts.com E SSENTIAL ® P LUS 1-0-1 100% NATURAL ORGANIC SOIL AMENDMENT And ROOT STIMULATOR With 21 L-AMINO ACIDS 0.77% L-Glutamic Acid 0.42% L-Proline 0.40% L-Leucine 0.37% L-Aspartic Acid 0.32% L-Alanine 0.28% L-Arginine 0.25% Glycine 0.23% L-Valine 0.21% L-Lysine 0.21% L-Serine 0.18% L-Threonine 0.16% L-Phenylalanine 0.16% L-Isoleucine 0.15% L-Tyrosine 0.13% L-Histidine 0.11% L-Cystine 0.10% L-Methionine Trace% L-Carnosine Trace% L-Citrulline Trace% L-Beta-Alanine Trace% L-Taurine

Inject (150 to 200 psi pressure ) into theupper 8 to 10 inches of soil using standard injection equipment. One “A “and one “B” packet (combined) provide enough product to make 200 injections at one quart each, covering 1250 square feet on 2 _-foot centers. This is enough to treat one treewith a 40-ft canopy spread. Inject the entire area beneath the canopy, where possible, following a grid pattern with injectionsevery 2 1/2 feet.

It has a high c011tent or insoluble, slow releaso nitrogen which does not completely dissolve in water, and therefore needs good agitation in order to stay in suspension. The aiitation also creates a homoeous mix for unifonn injecting into the toil. This unique slowly available nitrogen releases over the tire growing season. This nitrogm does not leach from the toil but imtead brcakJ down with soil microbes & hffleria and is made available to the tree roo!S for absotption. This is a low salt fonnulation and lherefote very safe to bo applied into the root area. PHC® for Trees 11-22-22 SRNPHC for Trees 11-22-22 SRN is a water-suspendible product that pro-vides both chemical and biological fertility. Its chemically-based ele-ments address trees’ immediate nutritional needs, while its beneficialmicrobes will help to sustain fertility over the long term. A new surfac-tant technology (RZ3) helps the product to readily penetrate soil.PHC for Trees 11-22-22 SRN :•Is a low to moderate nitrogen fertilizer ideal for fall applicationsor other situations where low nitrogen levels are preferred•Provides both macro- and micronutrients to replenish seasonal(short-term) fertility requirements, and promote growth, healthand vigor•Provides select microbes that fix atmospheric nitrogen, solubilizephosphorus and release bound mineral elements in soluble formthrough decomposition of organic materials for long-term fertilitybenefits•Can be applied by soil injection or by drench•Is compatible with PHC Tree Injectable for Trees and othermycorrhizal fungal inoculant products• Its slow-release nitrogen has been very finely ground to improveparticle suspension in most jet or paddle agitation systems.DIRECTIONS FOR USESOIL INJECTION: Mix recommended amount of PHC for Trees withwater, and inject soil to a depth of 8 to 10 inches. Start injectionsimmediately past the root flare, being careful to avoid damage tolarge woody roots. Where possible, injections should cover the entirearea beneath the canopy and just beyond the drip line.Using the recommended rate below will apply 0.6-Lbs of nitrogen and1.3-Lbs of both phosphorus (P2O5) and potassium (K2O) per 1000square feet.Standard Injection Rate:• Mix 8-Lbs (1 bag) PHC for Trees per 100 gallons of water• SOIL INJECT:• 100 gallons per 1250 sq ft (2 quarts per injection on 2.5 footcenters) or

• 5 gallons per inch DBH (diameter at breast height)Compacted or Nonporous Soils:• Mix 16-Lbs (2 bags) PHC for Trees per 100 gallons of water• SOIL INJECT:• 100 gallons per 2500 sq ft (1 quart per injection on 2.5 footcenters) or

• 2.5 gallons per inch DBH (diameter at breast height)SOIL DRENCH: Mix 8-Lbs (1 bag) PHC for Trees with 100 gallons ofwater and drench the entire area beneath the canopy. This ratecovers 1250 sq ft. For best results, follow with water application torinse the product into the soil. Not recommended for foliar application.Mixed solution should be used within a 12 hour period.

STORAGE/SHELF LIFEThis product is stable in cool, dry storage conditions. Refer toexpiration date on package. Do not expose to direct sunlight forextended periods. PHC for Trees will remain an excellent fertilizer, but the number of beneficial microbes may be reduced after theexpiration date shown on the package.
