Operation

enVigilPnPpresentsasimpleandconsistentuserinterfacedividedintothreepanes;agridofindicators,amainreportandascrollingalarmlist.

Theindicatorsontheleftdepictthecurrentstateofparticlesamplingorenvironmentallocationsandclickinganindicatorshowsthereportforthatlocationontheright.Thedefaultformatisatrend,butoneclickoffershistoricalalarmreportsorhistoricaltabulardatainsteadandyoucanreadilychangethetimebaseforanyreportusingfamiliarcalendarcontrols.

Forparticlecountinglocations,controlbuttonsallowyoutostartandstopeachcounter,withanautomaticdelaybeforecountingstartstoallowthesamplepathtobepurgedof‘old’air.

Indicators,valuesandalarmentriesareallcolorcodedaccordingtotheirstate;greenwhenincompliance,redwhenoutofcomplianceandflashuntiltheyhavebeenacknowledged.Uniquecolorsindicateinactivecountersorerrorssuchasfloworsensorfailureataglance.

Thebuilt-inreconciledalarmfacilityoffersthemostconcisereportofcomplianceoveraperiodoftime.Asummaryatthetopclearlyshowsthetotaltimeeachparameterspentoutofcompliance,whilethelowersectiondetailstheindividualeventsthatcontributedtothattotaltime.

Inadditiontothereportsavailableforeachparticlecounter,aglobalauditreportisavailableshowingloginactivityandanychangesmadetotheconfiguration.Reportscanbeprintedwithasingleclickandincludesignatureboxesallowingthemtobeusedforbatchsignoff.

DatacanbeexportedtoMicrosoftExceloveraselectableperiodandincludesdata,alarmtransitionsandauditentriesoverthatperiod.itemofhardwarethattheyreferto.

enVigilPnPoffersthequickestandsimplestconfigurationmechanismavailable.Theconfigurationwizardoffersaseriesof‘tabs’thatmapdirectlyontothehardwareyouareconfiguring.Bysupplyingafewdetailsoneachtabandclickingtherunbutton,youcanbeupandrunninginminutes.Inthefirsttabyouenterdescriptiveinformationaboutthesystemthatistobeincludedintheheaderofprintedreports.Anothertabletsyoudefinetheparticlecountinglocationstobemonitoredandthealarmlimitstobeapplied.Pre-definedsetsoflimitssuchas‘GradeA’areavailable,oryoucaneditthemtodefineyourown.

Afurthertaboffersenvironmentalmonitoinglocationssuchasfridgesorfreezersandusesstylesthatcanbedefinedonceandappliedtoallmeasurementsofthesametype.

Anothertabletsyoudefinethelocationofoptionalalarmbeaconhardwareandwhichlocationscontributetotheiralarmstate.

Fortheultimateinsystemconfidenceyoucanusetheoptionalwatchdogfacility.Whenfitted,thewatchdogconstantlymonitorsthehealthoftheenVigilPnPprocessesonthePCandalertsstaffontheexternalwatchdoghardwareifsystemintegrityiscompromised.
