“The Autobots are hunting down the Decepticons who are hiding out across planet Earth.”
AIM OF THE GAME
Capture and control four Territories first by winning battles with your Autobots
or Decepticons. The highest power score captures the
Territory!
CONTENTS:Standard game – 40 Robot cards (four sets of 10), 16 double sided Territory cards, 20 Convert cards (Mission Control cards). Advanced game – Extra 12 Robot cards (four sets of 3).
GET READY!
• Get the free Shufflecards app for the quickstart video or continue reading.
• Remove the Advanced game cards marked and place them back in the case.
• Separate the cards into five piles: Territory cards, two sets of Autobots and two sets of Decepticons (10 per set).
• Shuffle the Territory cards and place the top two in the centre, face down. Place the rest in a pile next to them.
• Decide if you want to play as Autobots or Decepticons and take a set of Robot cards. In a 2-player game, put a set of each back in the box.
• Shuffle your set of Robot cards and deal five face-down in a pile in front of you. These are your reserves.
• Take the other five Robot cards and hold them in your hand.
HOW TO PLAY
(2-player game )1. The player who does the best robot
impression chooses the first Territory to battle for.
2. Make sure you have at least one Robot in your hand with a skill that matches a skill on the Territory you choose. If all skills match, even better!
3. Both secretly decide which Robot(s) to send into battle. You can send one or two Robots into battle each time.
4. Place your chosen Robot(s) face down in front of you.
5. Shout “BATTLE!” and both turn over your Robot(s) together. Now it’s time to find out who captured the Territory!
SCORING Compare the Robot card(s) you played with the Territory you’re battling for:
• If ALL skills are matched, you battled at full power and you score the higher Power number shown on your Robot card!
• If SOME skills match, nice try! You score the lower Power number on your card.
• If your robot has EXTRA skills that’s okay, as long as you match the skills needed for battle.
Did you send two Robots into battle? Repeat the above for your second Robot and add the two Power numbers together to get your Power score.
The player with the highest total power score wins the battle and captures the Territory!
Put all Robots that battled on top of the Territory and place it in front of you to show
you won it.
Both take new Robot card(s) from your reserve pile so that you’re holding five again. Put the top card from the Territory pile in the centre to replace the one you’ve just battled for. Repeat steps 1-5, taking turns to choose where to battle. Keep playing until the Autobots or Decepticons capture four Territories and win the game!

HOW TO PLAY
(4-player game) Follow the rules for the 2-player game, with these differences:
• Each player has their own set of Autobot or Decepticon cards.
• Play as two teams – Autobots and Decepticons.
• Before each battle, work with your teammate to choose which Robots to send into battle. You can still send one or two Robots each into every battle.
• Add together the Power scores of all Robots played by your team to get your final Power score. TIPS:
• Once your Robots are gone, they’re gone! So it’s not always a good thing to send two Robots into battle on your earlier turns. They might be more powerful later in the game.
• If you’re sending two Robots into battle, keep it a secret from your opponent(s) by placing your two cards directly on top of each other. A powerful tactic!
• If a battle ends in a draw, all take back your Robots and place a new territory card. Put the old one under the pile. Advanced Game
• Each player takes their three extra Autobot or Decepticon cards from the case.
• As with the standard game, shuffle the Robot cards and deal five reserves and five to battle.
• Then put the three cards left back in the case, without looking at them. Now you don’t know which Robots you have on your team… so the game gets a little trickier!
• Place the Convert cards face-down in the middle.
• At the start of each battle, turn over the top Convert card and read it out. These cards let players change or swap skills, add extra power or swap territories.
