Dual Enrollment earn college credit In high school
Prepare Now to Succeed in College
A U.S. Department of Education study found that the strongest predictor of college acceptance and graduation is something students do before they ever get to college:
•Participate in rigorous, college-level courses during high school
•Take assessments to determine college readiness: PERT, SAT and/or ACT
● A program where students earn high school and college credit for the same course
● DE courses give you a head start on college
● Taking DE courses sends a powerful message to colleges that a student is ready and able
● All attempts at college courses and grades are applied to both transcripts
● Through dual enrollment, diligent students have the opportunity to earn a 2 year Associates degree during high school
What is Dual Enrollment ?

• Would my teacher recommend I take a dual enrollment course?
• Can I balance college level work with the rest of my activities?
• Am I willing to seek out extra help if or when I need it?
• Do I have transportation to and from FSCJ?
• Am I able to commit to the homework/studying required for each DE course?
