    Yuan Qi is said to be Essence that has been transformedinto Qi, or Jing in motion. Yuan Qi has it's root in theKidneys and spread throughout the body by the an Jiao(!riple "urner). #t is the foundation of all the Yin and Yangenergies of the body. Yuan Qi, li$e %renatal Jing, ishereditary, fi&ed in uantity, but nourished by %ostnatalJing.
