She was the daughter of thelate James Madison and Fannie Tingle, retired from Brunswick Corporation after 20 years.She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Billy (Fannie Lee) Clark, Carrollton; one son, Noah Stafford Jr., New Castle; one sister, Florence Marshall, NewCastle; two brothers: Everett J. Tingle, Campbellsburg; and Edward D. Tingle, Eminence; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and twogreat -great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah H. Obituary. Oldham Era, Thursday, Sep 4, 2001. Blanche Jones, 89Blanche Jones, 89, of Eminence, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Tri-County Baptist Hospital in LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramey Jones; her mother, Grace Jones Tingle; and her father, Charlie Tingle. She was the former Blanche Tingle, a retired employee of Central State Hospital, where she worked for 21 years, a member of Rebecca Lodge No. 16 in Eminence and Eminence Baptist Church. Surivors include two daughters, Betty Jean Hamilton of New Castle and Pauline Harp of Eminence; a brother, Orvel Tingle of Crestwood; eight grandchildren; 16 great -grandchildren; and nine great -great-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug 23, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, with burial in New Castle Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Duncan of Eminence Baptist Church and the Rev. Garry Polston of New Castle United Methodist Church officiated. Visitation was held on Wednesday. Pallbeareres were Bobby Jones, Darrell Scriber, Donnie Baker, Charles Tingle, Connie Scriber and Abe Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramey Jones; her mother, Grace Jones Tingle; and her father, Charlie Tingle. She was the former Blanche Tingle, a retired employee of Central State Hospital, where she worked for 21 years, a member of Rebecca Lodge No. 16 in Eminence and Eminence Baptist Church. Obituary. Henry County Local, New Castle, KY, February 21, 2001. Paul Jones, 93 Paul Jones, age 93, of New Castle died Friday, February 16, 2001 at the Christopher East Nursing Home in Louisville. He was a native of Madison County, the son of the late Sam and Ellie Moore Jones, a retired farmer and mutual clerk at the Kentucky Race Tracks, Louisville for 34 years, member of the Simpson Masonic Lodge #189 and a member of the New Castle United Methodist Church for 81 years. He is survived by two daughters: Betty Jean Payton Hamilton, New Castle and Carolyn Baker, Eminence; one son: Paul Jones Jr., Smithfield; one step-daughter: Mrs. Joe (Norma Jean) Berry, New Castle; nine grandchildren; 15 great -grandchildren and nine great great -grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Teters Jones. Lodge services were held at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 17. A native of Harper's, Ferry, Henry County, he was a retired truck driver for WPB Oil Company and a member of Burks Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Mary Thomas Hardin; a brother, Stanley Bailey; and his stepmother, Nell Flack Bailey. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Tingle Bailey of Shelbyville; three sons, Roy T. Bailey, Douglas L. Bailey and Darrel W. She was a native of Frankfort, the daughter of the late James (Jimmy) A.
