difference. Unfortunately, our good works are sometimes our best-kept secret. We

want people throughout the countries where the Order is present, to know about the hard

work that Knights and their families domake their communities better places. To

help in this effort please submit your activities to kofc.org/knightsinaction.

“One member per month” Worthy Grand Knights you have done

exceedingly well in your membership recruitment. The March blitz will be your

effort in this fraternal year to attain our State and Supreme recognition of your

incredible efforts. Have your members

Father's Day BBQ

On a clear blue sky day with the

This is an annual event which the council has been having for several years now,

whereby the BBQ is offered after the 10.30 a.m. and 12 noon masses.

condiments,pop, water and other essential items required to make the BBQ hugely

successful.

On Sunday morning, the brother knights along with PGK Gabriel Ogundele and PGK

Fred Gamboa event Chair/Co-Chair commenced the preparation of the burgers

and sausages and set up the music system along with some tables and chairs to enjoy

the beautiful outdoor weather.

The event was supported by the

parishioners, families of the brother knighand well wishers of the parish and council.

The net proceeds of this event will be donated to the Vita Manor, Mississauga. For

Our grateful thanks to the PGKs Gabriel and

Fred, Chair and Co-Chair, IPGK Joseph and to our community of brother knights who

formed part of the BBQ Team, working with dedication, zeal and camaraderie. The

provided good support to the brother knights throughout the morning by

promoting the event to the parishioners and then assisting with the BBQ.

Well done to all of the brother knights who

said by Associate Pastor Fr. Joshua Roldanwho after the mass made the couples to

renew their marriage vows and blessed all those present.

This no fee event for the knights and their

spouses was sponsored by the council. Post the mass and blessing, the attendees were

treated to supper and were entertained by recorded music. The organising team which

was Chaired by Bro. Kelvin Netto and his

hard working committee of knights, also arranged for a few games all relevant to

marriage and its importance.

Annual Ladies’ Nite event,

For the annual Ladies’ Nite event, our ladieand guests were well entertained by the

Rhythm Sizzlers on Friday, June 20 and we thank them for their live & recorded music.

Our guests for the evening were Msgr.

Edgardo Pan, Parish Pastor and Chaplain of our council, who also besides saying the

grace thanked our ladies for their support to the husbands who are the knights. Tony

Ciufo District Warden and his lady Annette

also graced the occasion. Our PGKs Gabriel Ogundele, Valens Almeida and Simon

Mendes also attended with their ladies.
