On the recommendations of the Jammu & Kashmir PublicService Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporaryappointment of Shri Barkat Ahmad Dar (OM) S/O Mohammad SubhanDar RIO Seer-Jageer-Ghat Tehsil Sopore, District Baramulla asSuperintendent Jails in Prisons Department in the Pay Band 2: ~ 9300-34800 with grade pay of ~ 4800 with immediate effect.

The appointee shall report to the Director General of Police(Prisons), J&K, Jammu within a period of21 days from the date of issue ofthis order, failing which his appointment shall be deemed to have beencancelled forthwith.

The appointee shall be allowed to join only on production ofthe following certificates in original: -

i) Academic Qualification Certificatesii) Matriculation/Date of Birth Certificateiii) Permanent Resident Certificateiv) Any other certificate as required under rules.

f? Further his appointment shall be subject to the followingconditions»

i) He shall give an undertaking in the shape of an affidavit to theeffect that in case adverse report about his character andantecedents is received from the CID Headquarters, J&K towhom a reference shall be made by the Prisons Department, heshall have no right to claim his appointment as SuperintendentJails, in the Prisons Department and his appointment, as such,shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio;

ii) Verification of the genuineness of the qualification and otherrelevant certificates from the concerned issuing authorities.

The salary of the appointee shall not be drawn and disbursedto him unless the satisfactory reports in respect of (i) and (ii) above in hisfavour are received by the Prisons Department. If, on verification, thecertificates produced by the appointee prove to be fake or forged, hisappointment shall stand cancelled ab-initio.

The appointment of the candidate shall be governed by the"New Pension Scheme" as per SRO 400 of2009 dated 24.12.2009.

The appointee shall be on probation for a period of two yearsduring which he shall undergo such training and pass the DepartmentalExamination as prescribed under rules.

It is further ordered that the seniority of the appointee shallbe determined strictly in terms of Rule 24 of Jammu and Kashmir CivilServices (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

The above order shall be subject to the outcome of writpetition if any, pending before any competent court of law.
