• Boys – go outside and play games, learn cheers, sing songs. – Lead by Webelos & Leaders.– Playground equipment is OFF-LIMITS!
• Parents – Learn about Cub Scouting. Ask questions. Sign your son up for fun and excitement.

• Parents are the major source of Scout leadership
• Scouting is volunteer led• Full support and cooperation of every
parent is essential• Parents can help reduce the load for
everyone by serving as den leaders or committee members
• Parents should participate in and encourage their boys in their advancement

• Spend quality time with your son.
• This is the time to build the foundation of your son’s character.
• Teach him life lessons with fun age appropriate materials.

Process
• Fill out Cub Scout application• Assign boys to a Den• Identify Den Leaders – Fill in Adult
application• Review paperwork with Pack Leaders• Pay Treasurer• Receive voucher for T-shirt• Don’t forget your son when you leave.
