, Fall Fest Auction A Great Success! Last week we raised $12,350. for our vehicle fund during the auction.

Thank you to all who brought items and participated in giving to this

worthy cause!

Fields Of Faith - Wednesday, Sept. 25th At 7:00 PM The Adult Bible Study Class will be dismissed on the 25th so that our

adults can participate in the Fields of Faith event. Fields of Faith is an

event that seeks to share the gospel with Jr. and Sr. High School

students. We’re inviting adults who can participate to come. Your

presence in worship will bring energy to this event. The event needs

adults to help during the altar call. This will be a time to answer

questions for students and connect them to a local church where follow

up discipleship can take place. Adults wishing to help serve during the

altar call, please see Bro. Chad.

Men’s Outing - Saturday, September 28th Our men will travel to Garland, TX to shop at Bass Pro. We will depart

from the church at 8:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 28th. Following

shopping, we’ll eat at Pancho’s for lunch before returning home.

Harvest Festival Meeting Next Sunday This year the Harvest Festival will take place on Wednesday night,

October 30th from 6:00—8:00 PM. We will need many volunteers to

make this event happen. Please come to the meeting next Sunday if you

would like to serve!

Stetson Calk Love Offering - September 29th Stetson was born with has bladder on the outside of his body. Little

Stetson is in need of specialized surgery that will take place at Boston

Children’s Hospital. Stetson’s mom (Rachel) and dad (Leroy) will both

be off work for two months as they temporarily move to Boston to care

for him. Due to the nature and circumstances involved, we’re going to

receive a love offering to help Stetson’s family with expenses (living,

travel, lodging, meals, etc.) while they are off work and in Boston. Please

be generous. The family has reached about 60% of their $10,000 goal.

Any help you give will be greatly appreciated by the Calks.

Church Life Night At The Lake - Oct 20th Our October CLN will once again take place at Lake View Baptist

Encampment. We will kick things off at 3:00 with recreation (horse

shoes, volley ball, stroll around the camp, etc.) At 6:00 we will eat

supper and then wrap the evening up with a time of worship and any

business to be presented to the church. Please sign up for the dinner. Cost

is $5/person. You can sign up at the Connection Center, online, or on the

app.

This event will be held this Wednesday night at the Mickey Mayne Tiger Stadium in Daingerfield from 7-:00-8:30PM.

Reset Small Group Study Kicks Off This Evening

Your SS Class is your small group. Check with your leader about

meeting times and locations. You can pick up materials today in your SS

Class. RESET is a 4 week study focusing on resetting our hearts, minds,

voices, and hands for Jesus. There is no cost to participate.
