Welcome desk rental/hostess serviceWith this service we would like to make it possible for you to welcome your guests already at the airport and to provide them with any help they need.Mobile counters are available for rent at Budapest Airport for travel agencies, tour operators, conference organizers, and other interested parties. The service is available in the arrival halls of Terminal 2A and 2B.

A unique welcome counter is available in the transit area of Terminal 2A. With its prime location and perfect visibility, it is a perfect solution for meeting your guests at the very first point at the airport. We can arrange for a custom-made sign with your logo or attach a sign supplied by you to the counter.

Additional counter staff service: If you wish, we will be happy to provide staff for your counters with the necessary foreign language skills and an in-depth knowledge of the airport and the flight schedule.

Porter servicePorter service is provided at the airport on the departure and arrival levels of Terminal 2. By launching the porter service we would like to ensure that our partners can include an additional service element of comfort in their own offers linked with Budapest as a destination.

MasterCard Lounge

MasterCard premium card holders – with their partner and children – can enjoy exclusive services of the high-level lounge placed on the second floor of SkyCourt at Terminal 2.

Each premium MasterCard (Gold, Platinum, World) issued in Hungary entitles its owner to free access to the exclusive lounge. The premium MasterCard ensures free entry for its holder who may be accompanied free of charge by one guest and his/her own children under the age of 18. Other close family members have to pay a 10-euro fee each when entering in the cardholder’s company.

The MasterCard Lounge welcomes its guests with comfortable, acoustically and visually separated armchairs to ensure the best circumstances for work, relaxing, or reading. Free Wi-Fi and two computers are available for premium MasterCard holders. Guests of the MasterCard Lounge may try the pampering massage chairs or read selected Hungarian and international papers and maga-zines while enjoying the comfortable seats. Buffet service is avail-able during opening hours between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. every day with a wide selection of beverages and food free of charge.

Executive Lounge

The Executive Lounge offers privacy and the comfort of a luxurious environment, all-inclusive refreshments including service (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks), TV, Wi-Fi, and newspapers. Maximum capacity of the lounge is 4 + 2 persons.

Platinum Lounges

The Platinum lounges in the transit area of Terminal 2A and 2B await passengers with exclusive services: tranquil surroundings, business corner, internet access, TV, photocopier, and fax. The VIP room of the General Aviation Terminal near Terminal 1 is available for meetings in a peaceful and pleasant environment.The lounge can accommodate thirteen people and is equally suitable for meetings and recreation.

Shopping opportunitiesBuilt between Terminal 2A and 2B, SkyCourt, the recently openedpassenger terminal at Budapest Airport creates a whole new flyingexperience. The walk-through Heinemann Duty Free store of over 1 400 square meters is located on the departure level, facing the renowned Gundel restaurant. Around the oval departure hall branded shops of Swarovski, Burberry, Polo Ralph Lauren, Longchamp, Montblanc, and Hugo Boss are offering their premium products. Hungary is represented by the typical local products, fine food, and wines from different regions, porcelain from Herend, and handicraft gift items.

TransportationBuses

Budapest Airport offers a convenient and easily accessible drop-off zone for picking up and/or dropping off your guests at Terminal 2. Dedicated zones may also be provided for larger events. Parking spaces for VIP guests and buses are also available.

Taxi

Főtaxi, the taxi company with the longest traditions in Hungary will transport passengers between the airport and the city. Főtaxi’s several hundred cars as well as its trained and experienced colleagues ensure a safe basis to satisfy passengers’ needs at a high standard. Taxi drivers speaking at least one foreign language are at your service with large, category ‘A’ cars younger than five years. All cars are equipped with a POS terminal, therefore credit cards are also accepted.

Cars can be reserved at the Főtaxi booths located at the exits at Terminals 2A and 2B. At the taxi rank in front of the stands, taxis are waiting for passengers continuously.

Shuttle service

The door-to-door transfer operates as a shared-ride service, which means that passengers traveling to/from the same/closely situated addresses are transported in the same vehicle. Every vehicle is equipped with dual-air conditioning systems and Wi-Fi hotspots for free internet access, further increasing passenger comfort during the journey.

The service is provided with buses for 8 to 10 and 30 to 50 passengers. All minibuses arrive to and depart from the main entrances of the terminals.

Bookings can be made at the AirportShuttle-Minibus Desks or 24 hours before your flight departure via an online reservation system, through travel agencies or by calling the call center.
