A repülőtér az első állomás, ahol a nyaralni, pihenni induló utasok már úgy érezhetik: végre elkezdődött az utazás. Ennek megfelelően a nyaralás első élményeit a terminálépületekben tett barangolás, a repülőtéri üzletek és éttermek meglátogatása, valamint az ablakokon át izgalommal figyelt fel- és leszálló gépek jelentik. A repülőtérről tett benyomás ezáltal az utazási élmény első mérföldköveként megkerülhetetlen fontosságú valamennyi utazó számára. Ebben a szellemben dolgoztunk az előző, tavaly tavasszal megtartott roadshow óta.
A Budapest Airportnak minden oka meg volt arra, hogy optimistán kezdje az idei évet: 2011 minden tekintetben rekordév volt a repülőtéren, valamennyi utasforgalmi adat megdőlt és az idén januári adatok is azt mutatták, a szárnyalás folytatódik. Minden pozitív várakozást kettétört azonban a február elején sokkszerűen érkező Malév-csőd. A légiközlekedési iparág ezt követő mélyrepülése az egész hazai turizmust megrázta.
A legfontosabb válságkezelést sikerrel vette a repülőtér, amelynek köszönhetően elindulhattunk a talpra állás útján. Felkészültünk a gyökeresen átalakult légi piacra, hiszen be kell látni: ma már az utasok többsége diszkont légitársasággal érkezik Budapestre, szemben a tavalyi egynegyedes részarányukkal. Büszkék vagyunk rá, hogy üzleti struktúránk áthangolása révén sikeresen véghezvihettünk egy sor olyan fejlesztést, ami talán idén februárban még távoli célnak tűnhetett, és amelyek révén a repülőtér nyújtotta szolgáltatások színvonalát tovább növeltük.
Nyár elejére a Budapest Airport befejezte a 2. Terminál régebbi „A” és „B” szárnyainak felújítását, amelyhez a SkyCourt tavalyi átadása után fogott hozzá. Az utasok ma már egységes színvonalú terminállal találkoznak, ahol sorra nyílnak meg a pazar üzletek és a nemzetközi díjas éttermek.
Jelen kiadványunkban bemutatjuk azokat a szolgáltatásokat, amelyeket az elmúlt időszakban vezettünk be többnyire utasaink kényelme, biztonsága érdekében, emellett részletes bemutató található a Budapest Airport által jelenleg kínált termékekről, legyen szó szabadidős vagy üzleti utasról, partner, vagy egyéb üzleti vállalkozásról.

The airport is the first place where passengers departing for their holidays actually feel that their journey has begun. The first experiences of many holidays are wandering around the terminal building, visiting airport shops and restaurants and admiring the view of aircraft taking off and landing thorough the windows. The impression of an airport is therefore of great significance for many travelers, as the first milestone of their holiday experience. We have been working in this spirit since the previous roadshow held last spring.
Budapest Airport had every reason to be optimistic at the beginning of this year; 2011 was a record year for the airport in all respects, with all passenger traffic data broken and figures for January suggesting that the positive trends would continue. However, all expectations were shattered by the shock of the Malév-bankruptcy in early February. The aviation industry suffered as a result, which had a negative impact on tourism in Hungary.
The airport was forced into crisis management, which it handled successfully, and embarked on the long road to recovery. We had to prepare for radical changes in the aviation market, as we were confronted with the fact that the majority of passengers now arrive in Budapest with low cost carriers, who made up just a quarter of the market last year. We are proud of the fact that, by adjusting our business structure, we have successfully completed a number of developments which seemed distant goals this February, and whereby we managed to further improve the quality of service at the airport.
At the beginning of the summer, Budapest Airport completed the internal refurbishment of Terminals 2A and 2B, began after the handover of the SkyCourt last year. As a result, passengers now enjoy a uniform level of service throughout the terminal, with a whole host of spectacular shops and award-winning restaurants.
In this publication we present recently introduced services for the comfort and security of our passengers, and provide a detailed overview of the products currently offered by Budapest Airport, be it for holiday-makers or business travelers, partners or other companies.
We hope you will find this publication useful, and that it can assist you in your daily work.

A repülőtér jól megközelíthető gépkocsival Budapest bármely pontjáról. A város központjából 20 perc alatt lehet kiérni a reptérre, az ún. gyorsforgalmi úton, amelyen haladva gyakorlatilag akadálymentesen közelíthetők meg a terminálok, fennakadásra csak rendkívüli körülmények között kell számítani.
A Budapestet tehermentesítő M0 autópályának köszönhetően a repülőtér az ország összes autópályájával is közvetlen összeköttetésben van.

A parkolóválasztást a Budapest Airport honlapján található árkalkulátor segítheti.
A díjfizetés a Terminál, Prémium, Holiday, Holiday Plus és Buszparkolók esetében a parkoló területén elhelyezett díjfizető automatáknál készpénzzel (kizárólag forinttal) , illetve a 2. Terminál központi fizető helyén bankkártyával is kifizethető.

BY Car
The airport is easily accessible by car from anywhere within Budapest. It usually takes about 20 minutes to drive to the airport from the city center via the express road, which normally provides practically seamless access to the terminals. Problems only arise in case of extraordinary circumstances on the express road.
Thanks to the M0 ringroad around Budapest, the airport also has a direct connection to all motorways in Hungary.

There are more than 2000 parking spaces available at Terminal 2, including Premium Parking, Terminal Parking, Holiday Parking, Holiday Plus Parking, Business Parking and Bus parking.
The price calculator on Budapest Airport’s website can help choose from these.
In the Terminal, Premium, Holiday, Holiday Plus and Bus car parks, the parking fee can be paid by cash (HUF only) at the parking meters conveniently located within the area of the car parks or by credit card also at the central pay point at Terminal 2.

Prémium Parkoló
A Prémium Parkoló az indulószinten 70, az érkezési szinten pedig 53 parkolóhellyel áll az Önök rendelkezésére.
A Prémium Parkolóba történő behajtáskor parkolójegyet kap. 5 percen belüli kihajtás esetén a használat díjmentes.

Terminal Parking is located at 25 meters from the terminal and 749 spaces are available there.
When you enter the Terminal Parking, you get a parking ticket. You can exit the car park with your ticket within 10 minutes free of charge without the validation of the ticket.

A terminálépülettől 175 méter távolságra található a Holiday Plus Parkolónk. A terminál kényelmes, 3-5 perces sétával elérhető. A parkoló 500 hellyel rendelkezik.
A parkolási díj megfizetése után 15 perc áll rendelkezésére, hogy gépjárművével további díjfizetés nélkül elhagyja a parkoló területét.

A parkolási díj megfizetése után 15 perc áll rendelkezésére, hogy gépjárművével további díjfizetés nélkül elhagyja a parkoló területét.

Business Parkoló
A Business Parkolónk őrzött parkoló, mely összesen 240 hellyel rendelkezik, továbbá a Business Parkolót igénybe vevő utasainkat minibusz szállítja díjmentesen a parkoló és a 2A, ill. 2B Terminálok között, mely mindössze 2 percet vesz igénybe.
Díjfizetés a parkoló bejáratánál elhelyezkedő parkoló-ügyfélszolgálatnál készpénzzel (kizárólag forintban) és bankkártyával is lehetséges. A parkolási díj megfizetése után 30 perc áll rendelkezésére, hogy gépjárművével további díjfizetés nélkül elhagyja a parkoló területét.
A Business Parkolóban elhelyezett gépjárművekért igen, de a bennük okozott károkért az üzemeltető nem vállal felelősséget.

Business Parking
Business Parking is a guarded car park where 240 spaces are available. Passengers are transferred between the Business Parking and Terminal 2A and 2B by minibus free of charge.
The parking rates can be paid by cash (HUF only) or credit card at the car park’s customer service office located next to the entrance of the car park. After you paid, you have 30 minutes to leave the parking area by car without further charges.
We take responsibility for loss of property in our Business Parking but we do not assume responsibility for any damages to cars.

Bus Parking
We recommend you to use the Bus Parking as waiting area and also to pick up and drop off your passengers as it offers a quieter and more secure environment than the roads in front of the terminal and is conveniently located at a 5 minutes’ walk from the terminal.

A 2. Terminál és a főváros közt a legnagyobb hagyományokkal rendelkező taxivállalat, a Főtaxi szállítja utasainkat. A Főtaxi több száz gépjárműve és képzett, tapasztalt munkatársi gárdája biztos alapot nyújt az utazóközönség igényeinek magas szintű kielégítésére. A fuvarozást legalább egy idegen nyelvet beszélő, felkészített taxisok látják el, öt évnél fiatalabb, nagyméretű, A kategóriás autókkal. Valamennyi gépkocsi rendelkezik POS terminállal, azaz az utasok hitelkártyával is tudnak fizetni.
A repülőtérre érkező utasok foglalásaikat a 2A és 2B Terminálok bejáratánál felállított standoknál rendelhetik meg. Az utasokra a standok előtti taxipontokon folyamatosan taxik várakoznak.

Főtaxi, the taxi company with the longest traditions in Hungary will transport passengers between theterminals and Budapest. Főtaxi’s several hundred cars, trained and experienced colleagues ensure a safe basis to satisfy passengers’ needs at a high standard. Taxi drivers speaking at least one foreign language are in service with large, category ‘A’ cars younger than five years. All cars are equipped with a POS terminal, therefore credit cards are also accepted.
Reservations can be made in person at the Főtaxi booths located at the exits at Terminals 2A and 2B. At the taxi rank in front of the stands, taxis are parking continuously waiting for passengers.

A háztól házig közlekedő minibuszok gyűjtő-terítő járatként üzemelnek, vagyis egy járműben az azonos irányba tartó, vagy a repülőtérre azonos irányból érkező utasok foglalnak helyet. Az AirportShuttle-Minibusz minden járműve légkondicionált és ingyenes Wi-Fi interneteléréssel rendelkezik, ezzel is kellemesebbé téve az utat.
A repülőtéri transzferszolgáltatás 8-10 fős, illetve 30-50 fős buszokkal szállítja az utasokat. A minibuszok minden esetben a terminálok főbejárata elé érkeznek, illetve onnan indulnak tovább.

The door-to-door transfer operates as a shared-ride service, which means that passengers traveling to/from the same/ closely situated address are transported in the same vehicle. Every vehicle is equipped with dual-air conditioning systems and Wi-Fi hotspots for free internet access, further increasing passenger comfort during the journey.
The service is provided with buses for 8 to 10 and 30 to 50 passengers. All minibuses arrive to and depart from the main entrances of the terminals.
Bookings can be made in person at the AirportShuttle-Minibus Desks or 24 hours before your flight departure via an online reservation system, through travel agencies or by calling the call center.

By bus:
Passengers are transported by a direct bus service from Terminal 2, called the bus 200E, to the Kőbánya-Kispest subway terminal. This service is adjusted to passenger traffic at the airport.
Points of sale for tickets: At the Post Office, at the news agents and at the Tourinform offices. Tickets are also available on the bus directly from the driver. A one-way ticket costs 320 HUF (400 HUF when buying on the bus from the driver).

CHECK-In
A check-in, azaz a jegykezelés és a poggyászfelvétel általában a járat indulása előtt 2 órával kezdődik. Ajánlott már ekkor megérkezni a repülőtérre, hogy mindenre jusson idő.
A poggyászokra vonatkozó szabályozás és súlykeret légitársaságonként változó. Az utasok jegykezeléskor kapják meg a beszállókártyát (boarding card), amelyen a következő adatok találhatók: utas neve, járatszám, utazási osztály, beszállás pontos ideje, utas által elfoglalt ülés száma. A check-in pult a repülőgép menetrend szerinti indulási ideje előtt legkésőbb 30 (fapados légitársaságok esetén 40) perccel bezár, az ezen időpont után érkező utasok felvétele a járatra már nem lehetséges.
Bizonyos tárgyak, anyagok veszélyeztetik a repülés biztonságát, ezért szállításuk még a feladott poggyászban sem megengedett. Csillagszórót, hegesztőpisztolyt, szódásszifonba helyezhető patront, Scripto View típusú öngyújtót, campinggázt és dörzsgyújtós gyufát például tilos repülőgépen szállítani.
Fegyverszállításra csak olyan fegyvertáska használható, amelyen jól látható a FIREARMS UNLOADED címke. Megfelelő csomagolású – ütésálló – dobozban legfeljebb 5 kg lőszer adható fel poggyászként. A légitársaságonként eltérő szabályokról érdemes előzetesen érdeklődni a társaság ügyfélszolgálatánál.
CHECK-In
Check-in, consisting of ticket validation and hold baggage drop-off, usually commences two hours prior to departure. It is advised to already arrive at the airport at this time, so as to ensure that you have enough time for all required processes.
Airlines specify different rules and weight limits for baggage.
Passengers receive a boarding card during ticket validation, which specifies the following information: name of passenger, flight number, travel class, exact time of boarding, passenger’s seat number. The check-in counter closes 30 minutes (40 minutes for low-cost carriers) prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Passengers arriving after this time will not be able to check in for the given flight.
Certain objects and substances may endanger aviation safety/security and thus may not be carried, not even in hold baggage. For example, sparklers, welding torches, cartridges for siphon bottles, Scripto View lighters, camping gas equipment and friction matches may not be transported on board aircraft at all.
Only arms bags which bear a clearly visible label showing FIREARMS UNLOADED may be used to transport arms. A maximum of 5 kg of ammunition may be checked in as baggage in appropriate packing, i.e. in a shock-resistant box. It is advisable to inquire at your carrier’s customer service in advance about the relevant rules, which may vary from airline to airline.

Online check-in
Az utasoknak több légitársaság esetében is otthonról végezhető, online check-inre van lehetőségük. A szolgáltatást felkínáló légitársaságok listája megtekinthető a Budapest Airport honlapján. A low cost légitársaságok esetében a check-innek ez a módja különösen elterjedt.
Önkiszolgáló utasfelvétel (self check-in)
A repülőtér 2A és 2B Terminálján bizonyos légitársaságok esetében önálló chek-inre is lehetőség van a kihelyezett érintőképernyős felületek használatával.
A Budapest Airport 2. Terminálján 20 CUSS (Common Use Self-Service) berendezést, más néven önkiszolgáló check-in automatát használhatnak az utasok. A 2A Terminálon 16, a 2B-n pedig 4 automata áll rendelkezésükre. Mivel ezek a berendezések jelentősen meggyorsítják, hatékonyabbá és egyszerűbbé teszik a bejelentkezést, népszerűségük igencsak megnőtt mind az utasok – akik így ülőhelyüket is maguk választhatják ki – mind a légitársaságok körében.
Jelenleg a Lufthansa, az Austrian Airlines, a Brussels Airlines, a Finnair, a Turkish Airlines, az AirFrance, és a KLM utasai használhatják a CUSS-kioszkokat. Néhány további légitársasággal jelenleg is folynak tárgyalások a CUSS berendezésekre történő áttérésről.
Mobil check-in
Az utasoknak több légitársaság esetében is akár az utcáról végezhető, mobil check-inre van lehetőségük. A szolgáltatást felkínáló légitársaságok listája megtekinthető a Budapest Airport honlapján.
Fast check-in
A legtöbb 2. Terminálról induló járat esetében igénybe vehető a fast check-in szolgáltatás, amely sorbaállás nélküli jegykezelést és poggyászfeladást tesz lehetővé. További információval a légitársaságok szolgálhatnak.

Online check-in:
The passengers of several airlines can check in online from the comfort of their homes. See Budapest Airport’s website for the list of airlines. In the case of low cost carriers, this form of check-in is very popular.
Self check-in:
The passengers of some airlines are able to check in on their own at Terminals 2A and 2B, using the touch screens provided.
Passengers can use 20 self check-in machines at Terminal 2. There are 16 self check-in machines available at Terminal 2A and 4 at Terminal 2B. Since these machines make check-in significantly faster, easier and more efficient, they have become very popular. Therefore there is ever-increasing demand for them from passengers, who are thus able to select their seats themselves, as well as from airlines.
Currently the passengers of Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Finnair, Turkish Airlines, AirFrance and KLM can use the CUSS kiosks, whilst talks are currently ongoing about the use of CUSS with several other airlines.
Mobile check-in
Several airlines offer mobile check-in for passengers, which can be performed from anywhere. See Budapest Airport’s website for the list of airlines offering this service.
Fast check-in
The fast check-in service is available for most flights departing from Terminals 2A and 2B, enabling passengers and their baggage to be checked in without queuing. For more information, please contact your airline.

Célállomástól függetlenül, a repülőjárat indulása előtt minden utas, illetve minden feladott és kézipoggyász is biztonsági ellenőrzésen esik át. Az utasoknak mágneskapun kell átmenniük, kézipoggyászukat pedig röntgenberendezéssel világítják át. Az eljárás célja az, hogy semmiféle szúró-vágó eszköz, fegyver, folyadék vagy más, a repülés biztonságát veszélyeztető anyag, tárgy ne juthasson fel a gép fedélzetére.
Az utasok a 2. Terminálon a SkyCourtnak köszönhetően már célállomástól függetlenül választhatnak, hogy a 2A vagy a 2B Terminál felől esnek át az utasbiztonsági ellenőrzésen.
Az arra rászorultak, így a kismamák, a mozgáskorlátozottak vagy az idősek igénybe vehetik a szintén mindkét terminál felől elérhető Fast Track Lane-t, azaz a gyorsító sávot, mellyel az utasbiztonsági vizsgálatnál várakozással eltöltött idő jelentősen lerövidíthető.
Kérjük utasainkat, hogy, az utasbiztonsági vizsgálatra való felkészüléssel segítsék az ellenőrzőponton való zökkenőmentes áthaladást. Ürítsék ki zsebeiket, vegyék le a felsőruházatukat (zakó, blézer, kabát, mellény, stb.), és helyezzék a tárgyakat, ruhákat a műanyag tálcákba. Külön kérésre az övet és a cipőt is le kell venni (utóbbi esetben igény szerint lábzsákok állnak rendelkezésre). A hordozható számítógépeket minden esetben ki kell venni a kézipoggyászból, és külön tálcába kell helyezni.
A kézipoggyászban csak kis mennyiségű – egyenként maximum 100 milliliternyi – folyadékot, krémet, illetve zselét lehet felvinni a repülőre. A kis tégelyeket, dobozokat, tárolóedényeket maximum 1 liter űrtartalmú, átlátszó, újrazárható műanyag zacskóba kell helyezni. Az előírásoknak megfelelő zacskó az ellenőrzést végző kollegáktól kérhető, azt minden utasunknak ingyenesen biztosítjuk. A kézitáskában a repülés idejére feltétlenül szükséges gyógyszerek, diabetikus termékek, bébiételek vihetők fel a repülőgép fedélzetére. A biztonsági ellenőrzést követően az indulási tranzitban található repülőtéri boltokban bármilyen folyadék megvásárolható.

Irrespective of the destination, all passengers and all hand and hold baggage will have to undergo security screening. Passengers pass through a walk-through metal detector, while hand baggage is screened using an X-ray machine. The aim of this procedure is to prevent any sharp items, weapons, liquids or other materials compromising aviation safety/security from being taken on board aircraft.
Thanks to the bud:skycourt, passengers can now choose to undergo security screening either on the side facing towards Terminal 2A or 2B, irrespective of their destination.
Passengers in need, such as women with children, the disabled and the elderly, may use the Fast Track Lane available from the direction of both terminals, whereby the time spent waiting for passenger security screening can be significantly reduced.
Whilst waiting for screening, please help us ensure you pass through the security process as smoothly as possible. Passengers are requested to empty all pockets, take off any upper body over garments (jacket, blazer, coat, waistcoat, etc.) and place their belongings and garments in the plastic trays. Belts and shoes may also have to be taken off upon request (in the latter case, foot sacks are available if required). All laptop computers must be removed from your hand baggage and placed into a separate tray.
Liquids, crèmes and gels may only be taken on board aircraft in hand baggage in small quantities (maximum 100 milliliters each). Small jars and containers must be placed in a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum volume of 1 liter. Plastic bags complying with regulations can be requested from security staff and are provided free of charge for passengers. Medication, diabetic products and baby food required during the flight may be taken on board in hand baggage. After security screening, liquids can be purchased in the airport shops located in the departure transit area.

Fast Track Lane – a gyorsító sáv
A gyorsító sávot igénybe vevő utasok rövidebb várakozással juthatnak át a biztonsági ellenőrzésen a kifejezetten nekik dedikált utasbiztonsági csatornán keresztül. Újdonság, hogy a szolgáltatás már valamennyi utas számára elérhető.
A 2012. június 30-ával megszüntetett Priority Lane-hez hasonlóan a gyorsító sávot továbbra is valamennyi prémium szolgáltatásra jogosult utas igénybe veheti, ha a légitársaság erről tájékoztatja a Budapest Airportot. Arról, hogy egy légitársaság továbbra is biztosítotja-e a szolgáltatást kiemelt utasainak azok business jegye vagy ezüst illetve platina szintű hűségkártyája alapján, kérjük, hogy az utasok előre érdeklődjenek a légitársaságoknál vagy a Budapest Airport elérhetőségein.
A gyorsító sáv emellett már hozzáférhető valamennyi turista osztályú jeggyel vagy a diszkont légitársaságoknál vásárolt jeggyel utazók számára is, ha – hasonlóan a fapadosoknál bevezetett elsőbbségi beszállításhoz – megvásárolják ezt a szolgáltatást a 2A és a 2B Terminálon lévő három eladóhelyek egyikén.
Emellett az arra rászorulók, így a kismamák, a mozgáskorlátozottak vagy az idősek külön díj fizetése nélkül vehetik igénybe a gyorsító sávot.

Fast Track Lane - for a faster journey
Passengers using the Fast Track Lane can use a dedicated channel to get through passenger security screening with shorter waiting times. This service is now available to all passengers.
Similarly to the Priority Lane discontinued as of 30 June 2012, the Fast Track Lane may be used by all passengers entitled to premium services, if their airline informs Budapest Airport about this. Please enquire from your airline or Budapest Airport in advance whether your airline continues to provide this service for premium passengers based on business class bookings, silver or platinum frequent flier cards.
Similarly to the priority boarding service available at some low cot carriers, the Fast Track Lane is now also available to all passengers traveling on economy class or with low cost carriers, and can be purchased at any of the three sales points located at Terminals 2A and 2B.
Passengers in need, such as women with children, the disabled and the elderly, may use the service free of charge.

Útlevél-ellenőrzés
Ha az utas nem schengeni övezetbe tartozó országba utazik, az utasbiztonsági vizsgálat után át kell esnie egy útlevél- vagy utazási okmány-ellenőrzésen. Itt a hivatalos okmány mellett a beszállókártyának is kéznél kell lennie, mert ellenőrzés során ezt is elkérik.

Telefonálásra, pénzváltásra, vásárlásra mindkét terminálon bőven van lehetőség.
BESZálláS
A beszállókapukat a menetrend szerinti indulási idő előtt, a beszállókártyán feltüntetett időpontban megnyitják, az utasokat pedig hangosbemondóban is figyelmeztetik a járat beszállításának megkezdésére. Ekkor az utasnak már ajánlott a kapunál tartózkodnia. Beszállításkor az utasoknak beszállókártyájukra és utazási okmányaikra is szükségük van, mivel a kapunál végső ellenőrzésre kerül sor.
Mivel a rendőrség az útleveleket a tranzit területen ellenőrzi, ezért a nem-schengeni országokba tartó utasoknak figyelniük kell arra, hogy elegendő időt hagyjanak erre a procedúrára is a beszállítás megkezdése előtt.
A 2. Terminálon 2011-hez képest új eljárás, hogy bizonyos fapados légitársaságok esetében a schengeni járatok utasai a terminált elhagyva gyalogosan közelítik meg a repülőgépeket. A Budapest Airport a diszkont társaságok kifejezett kérésére alakította ki az eljárást, melyet az említett légi fuvarozók sok más európai repülőtéren alkalmaznak. Természetesen extrém időjárási körülmények között a repülőtér felfüggeszti a gyalogos beszállítást, akkor az utasok ezeket a járatokat is busszal érhetik el.

If you are traveling to a country outside of the Schengen zone, you will need to have your passport or travel document inspected after check-in, for which you should have not only your official document, but also your boarding pass available, since this will also be inspected.

Passengers can enter the airside with a valid boarding pass, after undergoing security screening.
Both terminals offer numerous opportunities for shopping, to make phone calls and to exchange money.
BoardInG
Boarding gates open prior to the scheduled departure time, at the time shown on the boarding pass, and passengers are notified of the commencement of boarding via the loudspeaker system. It is recommended for passengers to arrive at the gate by this time. Passengers will need to present their boarding pass and travel documents during boarding for final inspection.
Since passport control is undertaken in the transit area, passengers traveling to non-Schengen destinations should leave sufficient time for this procedure prior to the commencement of boarding.
A new procedure at Terminal 2 compared to 2011 is that the passengers of certain low cost carriers traveling on Schengen-internal flights access their aircraft on foot after leaving the terminal
building. Budapest Airport established this procedure, which is widely used at many other European airports as well, upon the express request of the low cost
carriers in question. Pedestrian boarding is suspended and passengers are transported by buses under extreme weather conditions.

A 2. Terminál SkyCourt épületének galériáján található nívós váróban számos extra szolgáltatást vehetnek igénybe a prémium MasterCard kártyák birtokosai, akár partnerük és gyermekeik társaságában. Az exkluzív váróba díjmentes belépést biztosít bármely magyar bank által kibocsátott prémium MasterCard bankkártya, így a MasterCard Gold, a MasterCard Platinum és a MasterCard World kártyák. Valamennyi prémium MasterCard kártya korlátlan számú, díjmentes belépésre jogosítja birtokosát, aki magával vihet egy vendéget és saját, 18 év alatti gyermekeit is. Each premium MasterCard (Gold, Platinum, World) card issued in Hungary entitles its owner to free access to the exclusive lounge. Premium MasterCard cards ensure free entry for it’s holder, who can be accompanied free of charge by one guest and his/her own children under the age of 18. Other close family members have to pay a 10 euro fee each upon entering accompanied by the cardholder.
MasterCard Lounge welcomes it’s guests with comfortable, acoustically and visually separated armchairs to ensure the best circumstances for working, relaxing or reading. Free Wi-Fi – wireless internet connection – and two computers are available for holders of premium MasterCard cards. Guests of MasterCard Lounge might try the pampering massage chairs or can read selected Hungarian or international papers, magazines while sitting in the comfortable seats. The VIP room of the General Aviation Terminal near Terminal 1 is available for meetings in a peaceful and pleasant environment. The lounge can accommodate thirteen people and is equally suitable for meetings and recreation.
Executive Lounge
The Executive Lounge offers privacy and the comfort of a luxurious environment, all-inclusive refreshments including service (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks), TV, Wi-Fi, and newspapers. Maximum capacity of the lounge is 4 + 2 persons.

Fogyatékkal élő és csökkent mozgásképességű (PRM) utasainknak attól függetlenül rendelkezésükre állnak a vonatkozó szolgáltatások, hogy melyik légitársasággal utaznak. Ugyanakkor fontos tudni, hogy bizonyos jegytípusok nem foglalják magukban a PRM utasok számára szükséges szolgáltatási szintet, például a nagyobb lábhelyet.
Ha a repülőtéren vagy a légi jármű fedélzetén segítségre van szükségük az utasoknak, erről a légitársaságot már a jegy foglalásakor értesíteni kell. Amennyiben utasaink a jegyfoglalásakor nem igényelték a szolgáltatást, ezt még megtehetik a www.bud.hu internetes oldalon, az Indulás előtt/Speciális igények menüpont alatt található a segítségnyújtás-igénylési adatlap kitöltésével.
A fogyatékkal élő, illetve csökkent mozgásképességű induló utasoknak valamelyik kijelölt pontnál – az úgynevezett hívópontok valamelyikénél vagy a jegykezelő pultnál – kell jelezniük, hogy megérkeztek a repülőtérre, és itt kell kérniük a segítségnyújtást. A szolgáltatást természetesen átszálló és érkező utasaink is kérhetik. A hívópontok mindhárom terminálon megtalálhatók, kamerával és mikrofonnal felszereltek. A hívópontokon külön gomb szolgál a siket és nagyothalló, valamint a látáskárosult és mozgáskorlátozott utasoknak.

Services for persons with reduced mobility (PRM) are available for PRM passengers, irrespective of which airline they are flying with.
However, please note that certain ticket types do not necessarily cover the service level you need, for instance extra legroom.
If you require assistance at the airport or on board the aircraft, you must notify the airline already when you book your ticket. If you have not pre-booked the service together with your ticket, you can fill out the booking form on Budapest Airport’s website at www.bud.hu under Before departure/Special needs.
In the case of departing passengers, PRMs may indicate their arrival at the airport and request assistance by means of the call points or at the check-in desk. The service is of course also available for arriving and transfer passengers.
Call points are available at all three terminals, equipped with a camera and microphone.
At the call points there are separate buttons for hearing-impaired / deaf and mute passengers.

Ha egy poggyász nem érkezik meg, nem jelenti azt, hogy végleg elvesztett. Gyakran csak lemarad a járatról – de mivel a poggyászcímkéről ismert a célállomás, így a következő járatok valamelyikével általában megérkezik. A poggyászkeresők munkáját hálózatos számítógépes rendszer segíti.
Az elveszett vagy rongáltan, hiányos tartalommal megérkező poggyászokért kártérítés jár. A poggyász elveszését rögtön a megérkezéskor, az érkező tranzitban vagy az útlevélkezelés után, a poggyászátvételi csarnokban kell jelezni az Elveszett Poggyász (Lost and found) ügyfélszolgálatnál.
Az elveszett poggyásszal kapcsolatos bejelentést az adott légitársaságnál, illetve annak földi kiszolgálójánál kell megtenni. A bejelentés alapján jegyzőkönyv készül. A késve érkező vagy megtalált poggyászokat kérésre az utas által megadott címre szállítják. Az egyes légitársaságok kiszolgálóit az alábbi lista tartalmazza.
If your baggage does not arrive at the destination, this does not mean that it has been permanently lost. Often they simply miss the flight, but arrive on one of the subsequent flights, since the destination is indicated on the label attached. The work of baggage search personnel is aided by a computer network system. Compensation is paid in relation to baggage that is lost, damaged or is of incomplete contents. Lost baggage can be reported in the arrivals transit area, or after passport control, in the Lost and Found office located in the baggage reclaim area.
Records are taken of the reported lost item. Baggage delivered late or subsequently found is delivered at the passenger’s request to the designated address.
