3. Practical information 

3.1. Arriving to Budapest By  car:  The motorways  in  Hungary  are  toll  based.  You  need  an  e‐vignette  (https://en‐ematrica.autopalya.hu/) to use Hungarian motorways. Motorway e‐vignettes are available at many petrol stations near the border crossings. By train: There are 3 big railway stations in Budapest. Budapest Keleti pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station), Budapest Déli  (Southern Railway Station), Budapest Nyugati  (Western Railway  Station).  International  journey  planner:  http://elvira.mav‐start.hu/elvira.dll/xslvzs/index?language=2. By plane: Liszt Ferenc International Airport is situated on the border of Budapest, about 25 km  from city centre. You can  travel  to  the city by public  transport  (bus 200E +  subway M3),  taxi  or  minibus.  For  further  information,  please  consult: http://www.bud.hu/english/passengers/access_and_parking. By  coach:  International  buses  arrive  to  and  depart  from  the  Népliget  bus  station.  For further details please consult: http://www.eurolines.hu/en/timetable/journey‐planner. Public transport: Tickets  are  available  at  several  big  public  transport  stations  in  Budapest  (train,  plain, international/domestic  bus,  or  metro  stations).  Please  always  buy  your  ticket  before boarding  the  transport  vehicles.  For  further  information,  please  consult: http://www.bkk.hu/en/prices/ and http://www.bkk.hu/en/timetables/.

3.3. Reaching the venue The venue of the conference is the Eötvös Loránd University ‐ Faculty of Science (Pázmány Péter sétány 1/A and 1/C). To reach the conference site, please follow these guides:

Tram line 4 and 6 station is only a few hundred metres walk from the conference venue. 

3.4. Registration Please visit the registration desk as soon as possible, when You arrive to the conference venue, since You will get all the conference material there (abstract volume, programme booklet,  badge, meal  vouchers,  etc.).  You will  be  able  to  visit  any  of  the  conference localities only with Your name badge, so please make sure to get it in time. Should  You  have  any  enquiries,  please  consult  it  with  any  of  our  colleagues  at  the registration desk. Questions concerning the billing, payment, etc. will be answered by the appropriate organiser colleague on site. 

3.5. Meal Dinner  for  the 24th April  (icebreaker party), coffee break and  lunch  for  the 25th and 26th April, as well as packed lunch (FT1, 3, 4 and 5) or breakfast and dinner (FT 2) for the field trip participants will be organised for You. Please make sure, that You will get Your lunch and dinner (icebreaker party) only with Your meal voucher, what You will get with Your registration package.

3.6. Oral presentations Oral presentations will be  15 minutes  in  length  including discussion  (12+3 mins). Please submit your presentation at the registration desk 1 day before your talk. Please prepare your presentation  in MS Office Powerpoint  (ppt or pptx)  format, avoiding using videos embedded.  If  you  wish  to  have  a  video,  please  contact  the  technician  before.  The presentations  can be  tested with  the on‐site  computer  at  the  registration desk. Please stay  in  the  lecture  room  of  Your  session  at  least  15 minutes  before  Your  presentation starts to avoid any complications. 

3.7. Poster presentations The  maximum  size  of  the  postersshould  be  A0  (ideal:  841×1189  mm),  in  portrait orientation. Please do not print a landscape‐oriented poster which exceeds the dimension of the board! Appropriate fixing material will be available at the poster area. Please make sure to set up Your poster on the morning of 26th April, as already during the first coffee break there will be possibility to have a look at them. Please make sure to stay next to Your poster during the poster session (13.20‐14.30, 26th April), as jury members and the conference participants may have questions to You.  

3.8. Special prize awarded by the audience There will be a special prize, awarded by the audience both  in the poster session and  in the oral sessions. You will get your  individual voting paper  in Your registration package. Once filled in, please put it into the box located in the coffee break/poster area.
