Instruccionesparajugarenequipos.

Preparing the activity for individual grammar practice. Make a

photocopy of page 1 for each pupil. They complete both excercises

individually. Go over the answers with the class.

Preparing the activity as a team game.Divide the class into

teams of three or four players. Make a photocopy of page 1 for each

team. Ask them to make two cards and to write TRUE and FALSE on

them. They answer the question in exercise 1 trying to agree on their

answers. Give them 10 minutes. They then have to correct the false

answers (exercise 2). Give them 10 more minutes to do this second

part. Encourage them to use both affirmative and negative imperative

sentences.

After the 20 minutes get the teams ready to play. One pupil in each

team will hold up the TRUE card and another the FALSE one according

to what they have written on the paper. The other pupils in the team

will take turns to read the corrected sentence. You can write the

scores for each team on the board. For some there might be more

than one correct answer. To win the whole point they have to have

the rewritten sentence correct. If they only have the TRUE or FALSE

answer correct, they win only half a point. You can also give an extra

point for the most original rule or the most difficult one.
