PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE BUON NATALE!!!! I can’t believe Christmas is already upon us!! When

Christmas time comes around, I am all about tradition (with a twist). We do not eat any meat on La Vigilia di Natale. We always start with my favourite, Antipasto di Mare then comes the Zuppa di Pesca. My sister’s Commare Maria always makes her special Baccala and we always make way too much food. After dinner, we play cards and other games. Around 11:00, Santa (aka Ferruccio) pops in for a visit and brings gifts. We toast and eat Panetone at midnight and then open all the gifts. I am sure your Christmas traditions are similar but I’m sure you all have something different you do. Share your Christmas traditions with us. Sharing them and believing in them is the only way we can keep them going. We have exciting things planned for CIBPA in December, things that I am very proud of. The first is our December meeting at St. Angela. The meeting is always a special one and I strongly encourage you to invite guests and potential new members to this event. Then comes out Children’s Christmas Party on December 13th. Niva Segatto and Linda De Luca have been working very hard to make this a special event. The last event of December is one that I am so happy we do, and that is the Turkey Giveaway on December 19th. Volunteering at the event last year was the most rewarding volunteer experience I’ve ever had. If you are able to help out, financially or volunteering, please come see me or one of the Board members. Then on December 21th, I’m helping Tecumseh Soccer organize a 24 soccer tournament marathon!!! It is called the “Reindeer Games” If you are interested in helping out in any way (time/food/sponsor), please email me. I think it is going to a really special soccer event. SPECIAL EVENTS Poker Night 2015 - The 3rd Annual CIBPA Poker

Tournament held on November 06, 2015 @ the Fogolar Furlan Club was great success. The food, camaraderie, cards all were great. Thanks to the committee Corey Castellan, Luciano Mancini, Dr. Angelini, Angelo Martinello, Danny Castellan, Frank Dagnillo and volunteers, Niva Segatto, Dr. Paul Demarco, Dennis Segatto, Nadia DiDomenico, Remo DiPaulo, Stephania Angelini, Lina-Marie Mastronardi, Domenic Dedault and Tom Lascheck. Give-A-Way In December CIBPA Board and members will volunteer to

provided 150 needy residents of Wind-sor with a holiday dinner consisting of 10 lb. turkey, bag of potatoes, can of corn, loaf of bread, bag of apples and a bag of pasta on Saturday December 19, 2015, 10:00 am in front of the Goodfellows Offices. In the past it has not been possible without the support of the sponsors and volunteers. Anyone interested in sponsoring to help with the costs please contact Danny Castellan or any board member. CHRISTMAS PARTY Sunday December 13, 2015

This years CIBPA Children Christmas Party will be at the

Fogolar Furlan on North Service Road in the rear Building Windsor North Hall. The event is open to members children and grandchildren. For Santa’s gift the age is 10 years and under. The party starts at 11:30 a.m. with lunch at noon followed by entertainment. Entertainment this year other than the visit from Santa Claus will something exciting for the children. The cost this year is adults $20 and children $10 inclusive. Registration form is attached please complete. Please support the raffle at the assembly dinner meeting.
