O ur brightest
stars will be the
centre of attraction at
our next General
A s s e m b l y . T h e
Canadian Italian
B u s i n e s s a n d
Professional Association will
acknowledge, recognize and honour
eight students that have excelled in
their studies.
There will be eight scholarships
that been graciously provided by
members or supporters of our
association which will assist these
honoured students to continue their
education in order to further their
academic achievements. On
November 1st the CIBPA General
Assembly wil l witness the
presentation of scholarships to these
students who will make the world of
the future a better place for all to
live.
We will also be making various
presentations to Dr. Allen Wildeman
for Perpetual Scholarships on behalf
of CIBPA, and a donation to support
the University of Windsor Italian
Studies Legacy Fund. All of this was
made possible through the proceeds
of this year’s “CIVIC NIGHT
F E A T U R I N G D R . S E R G I O
MARCHIONNE”.
Also we should all be very
excited and proud that the Canadian
Italian Business and Professional
Association has partnered with
Windsor Regional Hospital to
feature “AL PACINO” as our guest
speaker with the great expectation
of raising once again over
$200,000.00 of much needed funds
for the Mental Health Centre .
CIBPA is getting unbelievable
exposure and recognition in the
community of Windsor and Essex
County. Let us keep up the
momentum and the great work.

CERTIFICATE AND DECALS: If you have
not picked up your membership
certificate which includes a decal –

Assembly they are ready and she will

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
I t's that time of year the CIBPA
Children's Christmas Party date has
been set for Sunday December 11,
2011 at Fogolar Furlan in the Windsor
Hall.
This event is open to members
children and grandchildren only (10
Years of Age & Under). The event starts
at 11:30 a.m. with lunch at noon
followed by entertainment. Only $10:00
per person (Children & Parents).
This in the past has been a great
event attended by many members and
their family. Linda De Luca and I will
be selling raffle tickets at the next
general assembly to assist this event.

ROMAN FESTIVAL 2011
The Roman Festival held on Septem-
ber 24, 2011 was a fun event commem-
orating CIBPA Windsor’s 50th Anni-
versary along with hosting the National
Federation of CIBPA’s Annual General
Meeting.
The representatives from across
Canada attended the event, wore togas
and enjoyed the event with many
compliments. The passing of the gavel
to the new National Federation
President, along with CIBPA Windsor
receiving a recognition award of our 50
years of success.
Thank you to Chairperson Ermanna
Filice and the committee for all their
work and the decoration of the hall.
