The first debate for the presidential election is this Monday, September 26. This means that Election Day is right around the corner. Remember that we are not just voting for the next president of the United States; there are other offices on the line as well. Some of the individuals running for local offices will be at our school on Wednesday, October 5, for “Meet the Candidates Night.” Please visit the Catholic Conference of Ohio’s website at www.ohiocathconf.org for issue positions from a Catholic perspective. And I encourage everyone to review “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship” at www.faithfulcitizenship.org, which is run by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Come, Holy Spirit, guide our nation as we draw closer to the elections. May the Lord bless you throughout the week.

The Franklin County Consortium for Good Government, with the Catholic Diocese of Columbus Office for Social Concerns, will present a "Meet the Candidates” Forum on Wednesday, October 5, in our school gym. This is an opportunity to meet and hear

individuals running for the following offices: Franklin County Prosecutor, Recorder, Clerk of Courts, Common Pleas Judge, Ohio House District 18 and 26.
