It has been a busy and successful year for Catholic Charities! A new 13,000 square foot building was purchased and renovated for our Adult Day Center and will be able to serve 100+ seniors each day. Improvements include a beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyard with raised garden beds, walking path, heated accessible shower rooms, and dedicated areas for arts and crafts, memory loss programs, and family meetings. Our All Saints Neighborhood completed a $17M expansion which added an additional 200,000 square feet to the campus with: 100+ newly built apartments for independent and assisted living, a large commons area, dining facilities, wellness center, chapel, greenhouse, and retail space. We began a new partnership with Bethel Lutheran Church to serve Madison homeless with a winter day shelter while improvements are being made to a building on E. Washington, which will become a year-round day resource center that we were chosen to operate. The center will provide a place to do laundry, take a shower, receive mail, and connect clients to services – helping 100 homeless men, women, and children each day. Visit our website if you would like to get involved through volunteering, serving on a committee, working for our agency, or making a donation. 2016 Year in Review Together we have one caring heart, with many helping hands.
