This wine's unique characteristics configure Montes de Lá Reserva as an exceptional wine. Expresses throw its notes of elegance and pleasure the single fruition that Alto Alentejo can offer. It's made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira grape varieties.

Production Technology:The grape bunches had been cropped to 25kg boxes and immediately placed at a temperature of 10ºC. They've been submitted to total pulling grapes from the stalks and crushing having made its fermentation on deposit. The lot has been placed on barrels made of French and American oak where it has staged for 8 months and 6 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes: Intense garnet colour, with dried plum and wild fruits notes having a complemented aroma of sensations of toasts and smoked food. In the mouth it's a structured alentejano wine, of fine tannins and long persistency.

Suggestion:Should be consumed at 16ºC. Ideal to drink with roasted meat, risotto, ham and Portuguese traditional smoked food.

Montes de Lá Grande Reserva expresses at his best the Alto Alentejo characteristics, a region that's influenced by the microclimate of Serra S. Mamede, witch combined with the “terroir” and vine produces this wine. It´s made from Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez and Trincadeira grape varieties.

Production Technology:The vine crop is handmade to 25kg plastic boxes. The grape bunches are totally pulled from the stalks and are fermented in stainless steel barrels at a controlled temperature. After a slight maceration the malolactic fermentation occurs in a spontaneous way. Stage in new French and American oak casks for 18 months, followed by 1 year in bottle.

Tasting Notes:Garnet with light browned tones colour. Black well ripened fruits aroma with some vegetable, spices, tobacco and bitter chocolate notes. In the mouth is a structured complex and long persistency wine.

Suggestion:Should be consumed at 16ºC. Ideal to drink with Portuguese partridge, lamb rôti with herbs or with hunt meat pot pie.
