October 2016 : From the 18th of October Weekly drop in sessions will be held on a Tuesday at the Carers Centre in the Central Library be- tween 10am and 1pmFeel free to drop in for a chat, if you would like information about our events or to discuss any issues you are facing. I will be holding the monthly YAC 18 25 Year old Social for October between the 17th and the 29th. Any other ideas on activities or outings you would like to do and preferred dates Please get in contact! Young Adult Carer Forum Carer’s Choice Workshops This project is yours, and i want the work we do to reflect that so by having monthly ses- sions with young people willing to share their opinion i can put into practice what you guys want! A previous meeting was held by Rhupinder which three people attended a great start! My aim is across the remaining fourteen months of this project a total of eight people will have joined in with our idea sharing! If you think you might like to help make a difference and offer ideas or feedback on the project contact me! I will be holding an taster evening soon to talk about and show some of the work that has been done for you to feedback on, add to or criticise! Keep a look out on our website to find out the date for this! Alongside optional 1:1 sessions i will be holding workshops with professionals and guest speakers to give out up to date and useful guidance on hot topics, such as finance, debt, stress, as well as topics of your choice. If you may be interested in attending one or any of these workshops check on our web- site for dates and times. I am Georgina and have taken the role as Young Adult Carers Infor-

mation, Advice and Support Worker as of the 19th of September. I

will be working and based at The Den; My working days will be Mon-

day to Thursday but i can be flexible where possible!
