Firstly let me introduce myself; my name is Craig Lockwood. I have been appointed as the new Head Professional at Five Lakes, and I will be starting at the club on Monday 7th June. I have a huge passion for golf, its etiquette and everything it represents. I am a modern Professional who continues to learn and research all aspects of the game. However, I will always hold on to the traditional values that golf has.

Golf has been a massive part of my life for the best part of 30 years. I have 16 years of coaching experience, from coaching beginners up to European Tour players. I am a European Tour affiliated coach, a certified P.G.A coach, a County coach, and a Trackman verified coach. I offer the latest coaching software and launch monitor using the Trackman 4, which gives all ball and club data. I also have the latest putting technology, which gives all the data regarding your putting stroke. I have a substantial junior following across various coaching groups, which will be run weekly at the club on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Juniors are the lifeblood of any golf club and need to be encouraged as much as possible. I ask all the members at Five Lakes to support me with this development programme and to help me continue to grow the junior section, connect with families and the local schools. While this is important, all members are an imperative part of the golfing community. I am committed to you all to help improve and support your golfing journey. I look forward to getting to know you all and making your time spent at Five Lakes an enjoyable and exciting place to be.
