Let Me Introduce Myself •Dakota Shae Thompson 2008, Panama City , my first time at the beach

•I'm the 2nd oldest out of 5 children in my family

•I am the first to graduate out of high school and go to college

in my family

Reflection of My Learning

•I've been through 7 schools and Hamilton County High School is the 8th school, this will be my last school and what

I've learned from each grade level that it goes by fast and u need to take advantage of this because ten years from

now what we've learned will mean nothing so learn as much as you can.

•going through school has really made me who I am today if I was home schooled I wouldn't know the people I know

today and I probably wouldn't have a job either because I wouldn't have been shown how to talk to people today.

•Now that school is almost over all the things we've learned wile have to used it now, everything depends on you now,

not mom and not dad only you, we are the next generation

Explained •In this class we've all learned how to work with cover letters,

resumes, and transcripts, but why? Even when we graduate all

of those three can be useful in the future with jobs and school.

•My plans for the future with all of those three I will need a

resume for my next jobs to come and the cover letter and

transcript will be used and help me get into college

own websites. Having a good online presence shows

employers that you are self-motivated and digitally

literate.

•Artists love socialising. Networking events are the art

world's equivalent to job hunting

•It's all about your portfolio. The visual arts are less

gradecentric than other disciplines.

Financial Literacy Course

•budgeting is a big step forward after high school

because u must learn how to handle your money

• Credit scores are also pretty big step , a

specially if ur planing to buy stuff you have to pay

back later

•Insurance is probably the biggest challenge

because that's anything like life insurance, car

insurance, and health insurance. All of those

things help you have a stable life

Applications

•Filling out applications can be hard you learn more about yourself and

think more how to present yourself on a piece of paper

•When you send a application it can be very hard, but yet again it could

be easy just by looking at it, if you thought it was easy you're probably

doing wrong because you really got to be professional on a piece of

paper or a computer screen for someone else to read later.

•When it comes to college applications you have to put more information

about yourself so the college can look you up and learn more about who

wants to be on their campus representing their school.

Professional interview soft skills • Looking back on soft skills I really learned

more about how to be myself around others

•It's good to know your soft skills especially

when it comes to job interviews, college

interviews, and just talking to anyone in public.

Knowing those skills then to knowing them now

has helped me improve on my people skills at

work, and at school.

•Looking back on my interview makes me

confident because I know what to answer from

the 18 questions that was given to me for my

interview now I know what to prepare for and a

real job interview or any interview

Research Paper

Born Gay?

My research paper was about if a

human being can be born gay, on

the pros and cons website I went by

the con side mostly because a lot of

the test on this topic were to be

known as not true, some of the

things in my paper stated that there

was A lot of science to it that proves

it wrong, but you can be raised to be

gay you cannot be physically born gay

there's no gene there's no trait it can

only be a phase or permanent as you

get older.

The three points in my essay were

based upon environment ,science

,and family. The reason why I

have those three topics because

growing up you can be around

anyone that can believe that you

were born gay. Based upon

science there is physical proof

that you can't be born gay. When it

comes to family your family can

make you believe if you were born

gay or not especially if you had to

moms or to dads that happen to be

gay they can raise you as you grow up to

choose and maybe turn you into something

you don't want to be or who you think your

going to be
