Why is it important to contribute to the integration of vulnerable young people in Denmark with other ethnic backgrounds than Danish?

Because if we don't:

Divided connections between youth and the established community

Increased minority groups Increased exclusion Leading to riots and youth who have difficulties in

asserting themselves into labor ASKOVGAARDEN may 2012.

Match contributes to increasing the access disadvantaged young people have to employment and education by creating increased flexibility among employers and educational institutions.

At the same time Match also gives the young people the

necessary support and the critical skills necessary to act on the above flexibility.

The project is thus an important contribution to increasing social

cohesion and a stronger integration.

The cooperation model where each of the cooperating parties contribute in these ways, supports young people´s education, in a way where Match breaks with negative social inheritance, ensures mobility and increases the chance of socially vulnerable groups integrating into society.

At the same time the project is also a new

method to handle young people with no possibilities for education in relation to vocational education.

BUT……..Match is just a project.

Projects end! so… What about the large group of young people

who could benefit from attending a similar educational and employment program?

And… Where does all the good knowledge go?

NEO, sept. 2012 – dec. 2014 This EU project aims to develop a common

approach to vulnerable young people in education and employment.

This method will focus on cooperation between NGOs, private and public companies.

The method must be developed so that it can be practiced within the existing legislation in DK and SE, and must be shaped in a way that makes it possible too handle by professionals in the municipalities.
