Featured February Artist Angela Stevenson

Creativity reigns supreme at The Big Orange House where recycling is taken to a new level! Angela’s home studio in Rocky Bayou is packed with found objects, donated bottles and collected treasures. Reclaimed windows and salvaged frames become garden scenes featuring broken bottle glass butterflies and

button flowers…old pallet boards are adorned with objects to spell out words of wisdom…canvases paired with scrap stained glass and collected shells remind us of a day at the beach. “I don’t use patterns, and very rarely draw out detail before I begin. I let it fall into place, and while I remake concepts, each piece is truly an ‘original’.” Her work is featured locally at Lily Pads of Bluewater Bay, Artesano in FWB, Uniquely Chic in Baytowne Wharf, The Blue Giraffe in Watercolor and Luxe Apothetique in Destin Commons. You can view her work and contact her through Big Orange House Designs on Facebook or [email protected].
