This will be the first meeting between both schools since the 2010 state semifinals, and the first-ever meeting between Vito and Nunzio Campanile on the coaching sidelines. The Crusaders (6-3) come into the game off a bounce back 28-0 win over Friendship Collegiate Academy on BC Senior Day last weekend in Oradell. Seton Hall Prep (6-2) locked up a home game in the playoffs thanks to their 42-7 win over West Orange last Saturday night. This will be the 32 nd all- time meeting between both schools, with the majority of contests occurring in the 1960s and 1970s. BC VS. SETON HALL PREP SERIES HISTORY: (SHP leads series 19-11-1; .613) -BC & SHP have met 11 times in the playoffs, with BC leading the postseason series (6-5) and having won 4 of the last 5 playoff meetings, including the last game in the 2010 NPG4 state semifinals at Livingston HS (60-17). -The last SHP win against BC came in the quarterfinals of the 2005 NPG4 playoffs in Oradell (42-21).

GET TO KNOW: SETON HALL PREP -The Pirates are being led by 1st year head coach Vito Campanile, the older brother of BC head coach Nunzio Campanile. The last time Vito Campanile competed against Bergen Catholic in a football game was in the 1992 Parochial A State Championship, when BC defeated Campanile’s Paramus Catholic Paladins (44-34). -SHP’s one common opponent this season with BC is St. Peter’s Prep, who beat SHP (33-10) on Sep 19th. -The Pirates check into the game on a 3-game win streak where they have outscored opponents (112-21).
