Bachelor of Engineering (Co-op) COURSE OUTLINE This elite award-winning program combines accredited academic study with periods of paid work experience in your chosen engineering field. Engineers Australia recognised this program with the President’s Award at the Engineering Excellence Awards. You will benefit from reinforcing your academic learning through practical application. Work placement is an essential component of the study program and is supervised by both a workplace mentor and a member of the university’s academic staff. After completing the first two years of study, you then spend six months working with an industry partner. Specialisations are available in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, and mechanical engineering. Entry into this program is highly competitive and is limited by the number of available places. GRADUATE OUTCOMES The work experience component ensures you are well prepared for the transition into the workplace and will be valued by prospective employers. With substantial industry support, this program gives you extensive exposure to a range of potential career opportunities, allowing the development of skills in your area of greatest interest.

Bachelor of Engineering (Co-op) · the required standard of grades, may be able to transfer into the Bachelor of Engineering Co-operative program. Note that entry into the Co-op program
