Nine years ago, the successful partnership between Babyartikel and FH began. The German company, which until then had only physical stores, made the decision to join the omnichannel environment to follow retail trends and be one step ahead of its competitors. Thus, Babyartikel sought the best partner with expertise in hybris to develop their e-commerce.

The project was really dynamic and achieved great success in implementing the e-commerce. Due to the high volume of sales, this operation has become much more profitable than maintaining the brand's physical stores in German shopping malls.

Currently, Babyartikel only has its e-commerce channel and has expanded its sales throughout the European Union, with a 25% average annual growth.

ChallengesThe e-commerce project at Babyartikle was

challenging as the customer did not have a web operation, implementing from scratch its e-commerce. FH specializes in e-commerce, acting as a digital and communications agency, developing the e-commerce architecture as well as its design. In addition to implementing the solution, FH also helps in marketing campaigns, Adwords, SEO, helps to automate processes, acts in social media and provides consulting on other features that the customer needs.

Another important challenge was handling a dynamic project conducted from a basic site, where new features were added, according to market needs and increase in company SKUs.

Success StoryThis project can be considered a success story as

Babyartikle, after implementing its e-commerce nine years ago, grows on average 25% each year. It is currently the largest seller of baby strollers and the third largest e-commerce of children's products in Germany. The percentage of organic search engine traffic is also very high, which ultimately reduces marketing costs, and FH is a specialist in e-commerce and is responsible for maintaining the campaigns.

Babyartikel was the first e-commerce hybris in the

world chosen by Amazon to implement the pilot of its payment method, Amazon Payments. A year later, FH in partnership with Amazon Payments, developed a complete plug-and-play extension for hybris 5.0+ to make Amazon Checkout even simpler.
