Bees are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants, and are known for their role in pollination and for producing honey and beeswax. There are nearly 20,000 known species of bees in nine recognized families though many are undescribed and the actual number is probably higher. SCOTLAND

A lot of people think that Scotland is a part of England but this is untrue. Scotland is, in fact, a part of Great Britain. It is governed from London but in many ways it is a separate nation. It has its own capital city, Edinburgh, its own laws and its own stamps. It even has its own language, Gaelic, spoken now by only a few people on the islands. There are only about five million Scots, and most of them live in the southern half of country called ‘Lowlands’, where the major cities are situated. But most holiday visitors to Scotland go to the Highlands because of the high mountains and deep valleys, clean rivers and cold ‘lochs’. The Highlands are home to many rare birds and animals, like the golden eagle and the wildcat, which are found nowhere else in Britain. It is a lonely, wild and empty land. Only two per cent of the British population live there and the population is getting smaller all the time. There is very little work so most of the young people who are born there have to move south to find a job. Perhaps the Highlands of Scotland will become the last great wilderness of Europe.

A cactus (plural: cacti) is any member of the plant family Cactaceae, native to the Americas. They are often used as ornamental plants, but some are also crop plants. Cacti are grown for protection of property from wild animals, as well as many other uses.

Watu Ulo is one of the tourist sites which lies on the Indonesian ocean. This tourist destination is popular with its beautiful scenery. It also is the perfect place to enjoy the sea. It is called "Watu Ulo" by the natives because they believe that in the past there was a snake who was becoming a spirit. After becoming a spirit, it became a stone resembling a snake, sticking into the sea with its body lying on the land. During the Japanese occupation, the Japanese soldiers made fortresses which were used for fortifying against the attacking enemies and now some of the fortresses have become tourist sites. Beside the Japanese fortress, there is also a bat cave inhabited by thousands of bats. The visitors can cross the sandy shore to get to the cave. The lonely cave is often used for meditation by visitors. However tourists should remember that the cave is 100m in depth. To get there, the visitors can use public transportation or hire a rental car. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes from the downtown of Jember.

When I was in junior high school, I was not a very diligent student. In fact, I was quite lazy. I hated all the subjects that I took during school, especially science. For me science was very difficult. It was hard for me to remember the chemical processes, physics calculations, and biological processes.

Perhatikan hubungan kalimat 4 dan 5. Kalimat 4 seharusnya menjelaskan atau menambah informasi kalimat 5, karena itu jangan sampai terbalik menyusunnya. Bila penyusunan dilakukan seperti petunjuk ini bisa dipastikan bahwa susunan yang tepat untuk soal di atas adalah susunan jawaban A.
