Key Selling Points: A longtime Windham Hill recording artist now recording for Slow Baby Records, Barbara is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and championship fiddle player as well as a pianist and composer. She is known for her work as co-founder of the acoustic super-group Montreux, for her two award-winning solo vocal recordings, Signs of Life and I Surrender and her two duet releases with singer Teresa Trull, Unexpected and Playtime. In addition, Higbie has played on more than 45 albums, recently recording with Bonnie Raitt on Rosalee Sorrel's tribute CD to Malvina Reynolds. She has performed in contexts that range from the Kronos Quartet and Terry Riley to Ferron, Holly Near and David Grisman. Michigan-born and Indiana-bred, Higbie studied classical piano as a child and at age 13 moved with her family to Ghana, West Africa. As a teen-ager in Ghana, she was immersed in a vibrant cultural milieu a world away from small town Indiana. She studied with African master drummer Mustafa Tetty Addy, absorbed the lively Highlife music scene in Accra and traveled widely. After formal studies including a degree from Mills College in Oakland, and an interlude in France at the Sorbonne, Higbie returned to Africa on a Watson Fellowship to collect traditional indigenous music. But it was while at the Sorbonne, playing on the streets of Paris that Higbie felt her calling as musician. It was also on the streets of Paris that she met her first serious musical collaborator, violinist Darol Anger. Back in the states in the early 1980s, Higbie launched her professional music career in the San Francisco Bay Area, part of the burgeoning New Acoustic Music scene with Anger, Mike Marshall, Todd Phillips, David Balakrishnan, Rob Wasserman and others. In 1982 she and violinist Anger recorded their critically acclaimed duet album, Tideline, for Windham Hill Records. The next year, Higbie and Teresa Trull released the stunning Unexpected, named one of the ten best albums of the year by the Boston Globe. For most of the '80s, Higbie recorded and toured with Montreux, the popular and eclectic acoustic group born at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and featuring such members as Anger, Phillips, Marshall, Andy Narell, and Michael Manring. Over the course of three Windham Hill albums, Montreux earned a Bay Area Music Award (Bammie) and one of Barbara's compositions won a Grammy nomination. She stepped out as a singer-songwriter with her 1990 solo debut Signs of Life (Windham Hill) named one of the ten best albums of the year by the Washington Post. With the release of I Surrender, Higbie toured nationally with pianists Liz Story and Margie Adam as the Three of Hearts. In 1998, she and Teresa Trull released a second duo album titled Playtime receiving a GLAMA Award and Performing Songwriter's Top 12 Indy list and completed a 70-city tour. Barbara just released her album, Resonance, and will be touring it throughout the year.

New Age Folk guitarist & violinist Camille Nelson has fond memories as a young child, of her mother singing to her as she laid her down to sleep. It created a calming effect and helped her to feel peace. Her new album, Sacred Lullabies, released on Heart Dance Records, is a collection of original songs and hymns, including both instrumental and vocal arrangements, recorded with the intent of instilling that same sense of peace that Camille felt as a child in those that listen.

Sacred Lullabies contains six stunningly beautiful vocal tracks featuring guest artists Kimberly Knighton & Britney Holman on "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus" and "We'll Bring the World His Truth", singer- songwriter Madilyn Paige on "Our Lullaby", Irish Soprano singer Alex Sharpe (Celtic Woman) on "Into the West", vocalist Stephanie Madsen on "Not For a Moment" and the angelic voice of Catherine Bohman on "Pie Jesu".

nnd violinist specializing in acoustic-driven folk music, and has been in the music

industry for over 10 years, now releasing her third album Sacred Lullabies, on Heart Dance Records. Her previous released on Stone Angel Music, Lead Me Home, charted at #8 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart in 2017.

Blending elements of folk, classical, new age and bluegrass, Sacred Lullabies is a collection of original songs and hymns, including both instrumental and vocal arrangements, recorded with the intent of instilling that same sense of peace that Camille received from her mother when she would sing her to sleep as a young child.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT, Camille is the youngest of six talented and musically inclined siblings. Her father was a violist, and her mother an opera singer - both heavily influencing Camille's pursuit and interest in music and performance.

In addition to family, Camille draws musical and creative inspiration from her travels abroad. She has visited more than 70 countries, and speaks German and Italian. Drawing from a deep respect for and admiration of diverse global cultures, she integrates a uniquely multicultural perspective into songwriting following years living in South Africa, Germany, Switzerland and Italy prior to pursuing her Master degrees at the University of Utah and Utah State University, and later her Ph.D. at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She has also lived in Nashville as touring singer/songwriter, collaborating with various artists to help build her musical skillset.

Ms. Nelson has many affiliations with guitar maker, including her newest acoustic guitar used for the recording of Sacred Lullabies made by Brunner Guitars in Switzerland. She also has recorded and performed on guitars made by Taylor, Klos, Stonebridge and Journey Instruments, and uses Nicola Brand Strings. She also has helps to promote the American Brain Tumor Association and the Save Our Monarchs Foundation.

While traveling to Switzerland to pick up her Brunner Guitar, Camille met her future husband, whom she married this past spring, and is now enjoying her new life in Switzerland.

Key Selling Points: Hailing from just outside Toronto, Ariana Gillis began taking singing lessons at the age of six, but she was hardly thrilled. So, her father encouraged her to write her own material and learn to play the guitar. An award-winning songwriter himself, he gave her invaluable insight into the process. Gillis made an immediate impact on the Niagara music scene, and the Canadian Folk music scene, winning Songwriter of the Year at the 2009 Niagara Music Awards, followed by Female Vocalist and Album of the Year in 2010, as well as 2009 Canadian Folk Music Award, Young Performer of the Year. She networked at music conferences, which led to a quick, two-song performance for Dave Marsh in a stairwell in Memphis, following the release of her second album, Forget Me Not.
