    BAR - FREE + Popcorn IncludedOur student-led lm night, running since 2009, gets underway.Students are encouraged to show their lm and video workbefore the feature. Last years Big Screen Short Film Festival

    entrants will be screened at the start of every lm during theweek.Enid and Rebecca are two social outsiders. Having recently gradu-

    ated from high school they spend their days wandering around

    their boring little town criticizing pop culture and the people they

    encounter while trying to gure out life.

    A Study of Noses: Past, Present, Proboscises

    BAR - FREE

    The third level of consciousness is the understanding of yoursurroundings via your nose. My nose realised its ownexistence through other species proboscises realising whatit could have been if truly its shape use was down to chance.I created my nose a pen so it could draw, write and get toknow these alien shapes. In this adventure my nose will show

    you what you really are through an ink portrait.

    MASS DJs

    MASS (Mackintosh Architecture Student Society) kick the

    week off with a group of their nest DJs. Expect events fromthem throughout the year!MASS endeavours to create conversation within the Scottish archi-

    tecture community and put the student voice at the forefront of

    Last year 250 people turned up to this so please be patient if it is

    equally over-subscribed! Bring preferably white clothes and under-

    wear.

    Build a Radio Transmitter

    A workshop inspired by the micro radio movement, this workshop

    will guide you how to build your own micro radio transmitter.

    International Students Welcome

    A chance for all incoming and returning international GSA students

    to get to know each other and see what the Students Association

    has on offer. Food and drink will be provided!

    distribution. What does/can a location represent to the community/

    culture of production and distribution?

    The panel includes writers, artists, studios, labels, distros and pro-

    moters working in Glasgow. Including representatives from Dummy,

    Fact, Rubadub, Numbers, Green Door Studio, Clandestine Records

    etc.

    Presidents Pool Tournament

    UPSTAIRS BAR - 50p PER GAME

    Sam orchestrates the inaugural pool tournament of the year. He

    will excite with tales of student engagement and institutional qual-

    ity enhancement criteria. Dont worry - the creepiness is just part

    of his charm!

    radio that can be traced through Negativlands Over the Edge

    An evening of short, fast, punchy Pecha Kucha presentations from

    Glasgow based studio provider Many, their 2013 Graduate Resi-

    dents and special guests. Annually Many run a Graduate Residency

    Programme based at their studios in Merchant City. This year

    three of the four chosen residents studied at GSA. This event gives

    the chance for new students to gain insight into work of the most

    recent and exciting art and design graduates working in the city

    and probably hear some funny stories.
