Ranches star ted this powerful sale as they sold 1843 lb. butcher bulls to 126.00, and 2040 lb. bulls to 127.50. Bill Armstrong from Salmon Arm had 1765 lb. butcher

cows race to 100.75. Joe & Hazel Wadlegger had 1330 lb. cows top 102.50. Boyd

Smith from Clinton put the power to our feeder trade when they marked 585 lb.

heifers at 176.00. Rod Horsley from Falkland had 895 lb. steers mark 153.00.

Wayne & Lea Stordahl had 830 lb. heifers top our trade at 159.50. Ray

Partridge from Grindrod had 610 lb. baldie s/c notch 208.50, their 700 lb. steers

powered to 195.50. The Kuiper Ranch from Merritt had 641 lb. Black Angus heifers

trade to 182.00. Ben Alspaugh from Dunster had 845 lb. steers power to 169.50.

An excellent package of their 713 lb. Red Angus steers saw 191.50. Telford Farms

from Merritt had 745 lb. steers trade to 192.50. James Huwer’s 665 lb. Black steers

hit 210.00. Charles Walkem’s 606 lb. steers rolled to 215.75. Brian Carl’s 815 lb.

steers hit 175.50, their 780 lb. Red Baldie steers marked 186.50. Russell & Barb

Abel with 695 lb. Black & Red Angus heifers topping 179.00. Ludie Proulx

today had a heavy group of 725 lb. Black Angus h/c’s they traded to 170.50 with their

775 lb. heifers topping our trade at 171.50. Roger Paterson from McBride today saw

his heavy 778 lb. steers mark 178.00. The Lisa Stump powerful calves from Lumby

saw their 589 lb. Black & Red Angus s/c mark 221.50 with their 579 lb. h/c’s mark-

ing 183.00. Shulus Cattle Co.’s 1390 lb. kill cows hit 104.75. The Buff Ranch

calves today put the buyers on the edge of their seats. Their 681 lb. Black steers

topped 203.00, the 591 lb. steers reached 222.25. Roger & Karen Beaupre with a top

pen of 607 lb. steers racing to 213.00 and 534 lb. at 222.50.

OKANAGAN FALLS SALE—APRIL 14, 2014 Total receipts 300 head. Another excellent sale here in OK Falls with warm weather

and green grass on the way. This put a powerful feeder sale into action with lots of

locals looking for grass cattle. Steve Harvey had 2105 lb. butcher bulls top 119.00.

The Lichter Ranch saw their 2015 lb. butcher bulls top 125.00. The Harpur Ranch

young 1043 lb. cows topped 113.00. Thomas Ranches had 1310 lb. butcher cows top

105.00, the heavy cows 1557 lb. traded to 102.00. The Pat Lawrence 1335 lb. butcher

cows marked 101.00. WSR Holdings today with cow/calf pair’s, they traded up to

1900.00 per pair. Clarence Schneider had 835 lb. steers top the trade for the week at

192.50, his 529 lb. s/c marked 235.00 with 730 lb. steers notching 230.00. Jesse &

Dori Watts set a pace today with 551 lb. h/c’s marking 216.00, their 529 lb. Black

steers hit 233.00. Sather Ranch’s 624 lb. Red baldy steers reached 218.00. Cedar

Creek Ranch’s 687 lb. Black heifers hit 206.00. Gord Davis 488 lb. Angus steers

reached 235.00. Keith & Marnie Manders saw their 600 lb. Angus heifers hit 196.00.

Mark Felker’s 587 lb. steers rolled to 219.00, the 538 lb. heifers hit 215.00.

Robert Weins 530 lb. Black steers hit 233.00, the 400 lb. Black s/c reached 247.00,

the 521 lb. Black heifers. Irving & Carolyn Kelly’s 605 lb. Angus steers hit 211.00.

Steve Harvey presented 874 lb. Black Angus steers power to 165.00, their fancy

pen of 834 lb. replacement h/c’s saw 163.00. Greg & Sharon Lee had 1980 lb. butcher
