Descrierea proiectuluiDescrierea proiectuluiTitle:  “E-Laboratory Practical Teaching for Applied Engineering Sciences”Acronym: EPRASReg. code: HURO/0901/028The project is implemented in the frame of the Hungary-Romania Cross-Border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013 (www.huro-cbc.eu) and is financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund and co-financed by the two member states participating in the Programme, Hungary and Romania.

The project implements a set of practical laboratory experiments designed for the students in applied engineering sciences, accessible from remote locations by using the internet. To this end, it will be realised a software platform and 6 practical laboratory works, 3 at University of Oradea and 3 at University of Debrecen. This will allows to jointly use the facilities of the two universities, thus reducing the investments effort of both universities.

 The project results will be available free of charge for all people in the whole UE region.

 The direct beneficiaries of the project results are the over 600 students from 8 specializations from both universities. The indirect beneficiaries will be other students from both universities and from other universities, high-school students, institutions providing educational services, the employers.

The total eligible budget of the project is 185,354.56 EUR, from which the maximum ERDF contribution is 157.551,38 EUR.

The project implementation timeframe is 1 April 2011 - 31 March 2012.
