v Mode of Disposal & Final meeting point

Domestic: Domestic waste water will be treated in STP.

Industrial: • High COD stream (50 m3/day) from process will be treated in solvent stripper and solvents shall be distilled in solvent distillation facility. Mother liquor from solvent stripper shall be sent to collection tank of ETP. Recovered solvent shall be reused and distillation residue will be sent to cement industries for co-processing or sent to CHWIF. • Low COD stream from Solvent stripper, Process, Boiler, Cooling & Washing/Scrubbing (120 m3/day) will be sent to proposed ETP consisting primary, secondary & tertiary treatments. After the tertiary treatment, to achieve the Zero Liquid Discharge, Treated effluent from ETP (120 m3/day) shall be subjected to the R.O. plant. Then R.O. permeate (84 m3/day) shall be reused in Boiler and Cooling while, R.O. reject (36 m3/day) shall be treated in spray dryer & salt will be sent to TSDF site for disposal.

vi Reuse/Recycle details (KL/day) 84 m3/day RO permeate water will be used for cooling & boiler. 50 m3/day STP water will be used for domestic purpose.
