We stand up for human rights by: Organising fun events, gigs and creative campaigns Raising money and awareness for Amnesty Doing local newspaper, radio and TV interviews Lobbying local MPs Organising assemblies, demonstrations, vigils and other public actions Collecting signatures Writing letters to prisoners of conscience and government officials around the world Attending national events with other Amnesty members Influencing how Amnesty campaigns for human rights by voting at the Annual General Meeting Generally having fun and developing great friendships and confidence along the way.
