Investment in warehouse space is mainly for general purpose warehouse -particularly modern warehousing, which will come from players in property and the industrial estates sectors - to serve future domestic activities in manufacturing, trade and investment growth, and to respond rising demand for modern warehouse space. General-purpose warehouses, which are likely to see growth and increasing revenue in the next period, include warehouse space located close to production facilities, warehouse space located close to consumer markets and warehouse space located close to cross-border areas.
