DMM.AFRICA BUSINESS IDEA CUP is a business idea competition which will be held among five key countries in East and Southern Africa. The event is organized by Trickster Ltd., a Japanese company based in Tanzania.
WHAT is “DMM.AFRICA BUSINESS IDEA CUP”
The countries involved are :
Tanzania Kenya Rwanda Zambia ZimbabweThere are many young entrepreneurs eager to innovate their country through business. However, there are few opportunities and a very low chance for them to succeed.
This cup gives young people a chance to make their Dream come True!!!

This competition is hosted by an Advertisement and Promotion agency based in Dar es Salaam
Trickster Ltd targets the East African market. The Japanese presence is still low compared to other Asian, European, East Asian countries. The vision of Trickster is to be a “big bridge” between the African continent and Japan, culturally and economically. Trickster believes this “bridge” will make a better future in both Africa and Japan.

• Promotion will be done online through social networks.
• Online application and submission of business ideas.
• After the first selection, applicants will be put into a mentoring program to brush up the business plan they have submitted in preparation for the second round presentation.
FIRST ROUND
• The second round is based on a short presentation.
• Presentations will be done in each of the 5 countries.
• A panel of judges will decide the finalist for each country
• ⇒The finalist will be invited to proceed to the final stage in Tanzania.
SECOND ROUND
• Final round is based on presentation.
• The winner will be selected from the finalists from each country.
⇒The winner will win a free trip to Japan and 5000 USD of prize money offered by the sponsor.
FINAL ROUND
