The Philippine librarians Association Inc. (PLAI) -Cagayan Valley Region Librarians Council (CaVRLC) in cooperation with Northeastern College will conduct a three -day training-workshop with the theme "Connecting the Dots Between Librarians and Digital Learners" to be held on May 22·24, 2019 at Northeastern College, Santiago City.

The sa1d training-workshop a1ms to: 1. Equip librarians and IT staff with proper skills on how to create, design and

develop functional library website and guide participants on the process of maintammg that website;

2. Help librarians develop useful strategies for library promotion with the use of social networking sites as marketing tools;

3. Instill morals, strengthen values in the workplace and raise awareness on the ethics and responsible use of social media;

4. Empower the participants with the tools and techniques to produce well -written articles and publish e.ffective printed or online library newsletters; and

5. Discuss Makerspace and E-Books Consortium, PLAI updates and ContinUing Professional Development concerns .

In this regard, may J request your good office to kmdly endorse this significant activity to all Basic Education Institutions in the region. The participants shall indude librarians, teacher-librarians, and library staff. The registration fee to cover accommodation, 2 breakfasts, 31 unches, 2 dinners, 6 snacks, and certificates will be asfo.llows:
