AROUND THE GARRISON

DoD Executive level leaders decided to transition from Army's legacy hiring software (Resumix) to USA Staffing (USAS).

The migration to the new application has already started and will be completed in Europe by 30 April 2011. You will notice

the following differences between USA Staffing and Resumix:

- USA Staffing uses assessments to determine the best qualified candidates instead of Resumix skills.

- Announcements will be available only on USA Jobs <http://www.USAJobs.gov> .

- Applicants must apply through USA Jobs, not the Army Resume Builder.

- Applicants must answer assessment questions for each vacancy.

- Applicants can upload supporting documentation (i.e. DD-214, SF-50, etc).

- Managers will receive a referral list by logging in to an automated system called Selection Manager instead of receiving a

PDF referral list via email.

Ham Bowl

Open to all ages divided into 3 different age groups.

Top three scores in each age group will receive a Bone-In Ham.

Ages 12 and Under begin at 1 p.m. with 8-Pin No-Tap

Ages 13 – 17 begin at 3 p.m. with 9-Pin No-Tap

Ages 18 and older begin at 5 p.m.

Strikers Bowling Center is now running house high scores so you can give it a shot at beating the champ. Anyone who wishes
