Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with

evil and with good, and to Us you must be returned.

And invoke not any other god along with Allah, none has the right to beworshipped but He. Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face.To him belongs the Command, and to Him will you (all) be brought back.

Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. And the Face of your Lord―full of Majesty and Honour― will remain forever.

Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall

you be paid your recompense in full. And whoever is removed awayfrom the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. Thelife of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

"Wherever you are, death will find you out, even if you are in towersbuilt up strong and high!"

 

And Allah never delays the appointed time of death for any soul. AndAllah is Well- Aware of what you do.

Do they see nothing in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and

all things that Allah has created, and (Do they not see) that it may bethat the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will theythen believe?

Say: "Verily, the death from which you flee will surely overtake you,

then you will be sent back to (Allah), the All-Knower of things secretand open:, and He will tell you what you used to do."

And no person can ever die except by Allah's Leave and at anappointed term. And whoever desires a reward in (this) world, We shallgive him of it; and whoever desires a reward in the Hereafter, We shall

give him thereof. And We shall reward the grateful. (145)

O you who believe! Do not be like those who disbelieve and who say totheir brothers when they travel through the earth or go out to fight (and

die of killed): "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed," so that Allah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts.And Allah gives life and causes death. And Allah is All-Seer of whatyou do.

There are those who themselves did not join the others in fighting for the cause of God and said about their brothers, "Had they obeyed usand stayed at home, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then Avertdeath from your own selves, if you are truthful."

They say: "If we had anything to do with the affair, none of us would

have been killed here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes,those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth tothe place of their death….
