Model Overview Model Detail and Paragraph
Components piercing through the datum emphasize continuity throughout the model. When exploded a definitive volume is evident. Chipboard pieces are used in conjunction with the basswood sticks to add stability to areas, but they do not blanket form. The orientation and placement of materials create a thin
sliver of space at the pivot point. Basswood sticks extending from one end of the datum to the other pulls focus into the smaller moments. This same move highlights implicitly defined volumes created by
elements that appear to be floating. The basswood sticks protrude through the chipboard on two levels and turn. The pivot accentuates the petite space created by the combination of these components.

PHOT 2310Spring 2011
Structure and Portrait Photography
The photographs demonstrate proper outdoor lighting techniques learned inPHOT 2310. The shadows in the Bruno House emphasize the depth and form
unique to the structure. The lighting for the portraits are diffused light which is flattering for females. Having a higher aperture value lessens the depth of field
creating hierarchy in the picture withthe subject being the most prominent.
