4.1 Intellectual Property of WPIS

The Patent of the Invention ensures a sustainable competitive advantage on a global level. This is the pillar of the Intellectual Property of WPIS.The registration number at the European Patent Office is EP 1831.531(A1)

4.2 Conclusion         

The initial Invention has been realized and needs further development. One of the major prerequisites for the go-to-market strategy to be successful has been taken care of by the filing of the Patent across 40 countries. If WPIS (IOM) Ltd succeeds in the attraction of a Commercial / Financial Partner the next stepsfor the go-to-market strategy can be made.   

4. Go-to-market strategy

The aim of WPIS (IOM) Ltd is to sell the Invention to a Commercial Party, or sell License agreements. In order to reach this goal, WPIS (IOM) Ltd intends to find a Commercial / Financial Partner. At that time a Letter of Intent has to be signed which enables further development and testing of the Invention.A signed contract (License, or buy) with a Commercial Party could be obtained before the end of 2011.This process could be adjusted in close consultation with the Commercial / Financial Partner.

Due to the pressure of European legislation on OEMs to speed up the innovation process to reduce C02 emissions from passenger cars the initial focus is on car engines of the automotive industry.

WPIS (IOM) Ltd creates with its Invention an engineering solution for both the financial and environmental part of the business.
